THE iDOLM@STER 2 True Endings [Spoiler Alert!!]

Takane:
(Thanks, KirbySim!)
Takane offended the president of Emperor Records (henceforth known as Mr Tycoon) because he asked Takane to come closer and let him see her beautiful skin... but due to Takane's inability to understand modern speak (a running theme in Takane's story is that because she's brought up so proper, she does not understand informal speak) and thought Mr Tycoon wanted her to disrobe. Producer got Takane to apologise and managed to salvage the situation, but was asked to leave right away.
In the next story event, Producer spots Takane and secretly tails her into a RESTAURANT (NOT A HOTEL) where Mr Tycoon is seen putting pressure on Takane to "make up her mind soon" by suggesting that maybe he should do something to 765Pro/Producer/the other idols in her unit.
Then there was the story event where Producer is ambushed by an unknown assailant, but saved by a policeman. Producer notices that Takane observed this, but she ran away without saying anything.
*****
Sometime after, Takagi calls and tells Producer that there's a weird rumour that Takane has been seen going in and out of Emperor Records. Also, that 765Pro has been receiving less work, and that there's another rumour about Emperor Records' tycoon putting pressure on people to not work with 765Pro. After he hangs up, Producer stops by Emperor Records and indeed noticed that Takane was there socialising with Mr Tycoon. She did not seem unhappy or forced to at all.
*****
Then one night (on Week 45), Mr Tycoon calls Producer and tells him that Takane has something to say to him at Emperor Records, and that he should come. At this point Producer can choose to call Takane or not, but it doesn't matter because she won't pick up anyway.
At Emperor Records, Takane is nowhere to be seen and Mr Tycoon reveals that he tricked Producer here because he has something to discuss with him. Mr Tycoon attempts to bribe Producer to withdraw from the IA awards because Kuroi asked him to, and offers a large sum of money. Mr Tycoon reveals that he's doing this because Kuroi is a very resourceful fellow that has worked for him in the past, and that this arrangement is beneficial to him too because he wants Takane.
Producer refuses, of course, and calls Mr Tycoon despicable. "So you must have been the one who sent that assassin after me, didn't you?" He says to Mr Tycoon. At this point the latter was confused and surprised, and says that he doesn't know what Producer's talking about; that he's not the type of boorish person who would resort to this sort of inelegant method.
Lights go out, Takane suddenly appears (explaining that she had an illboding premonition that something bad might be happening to Producer; again this is one of the main recurring themes in Takane's story) and reveals what she has been hiding from Producer all along.
The first time Takane went to secretly meet Mr Tycoon to make her apologies, she was proposed to by Mr Tycoon. She could not decide right away, so she asked to take a raincheck on this; and has since been meeting Mr Tycoon regularly.
NOTE: This was not a deal/blackmail or whatever. It was an unconditional proposal, that Takane was seriously considering, because she doesn't know what to do with her life, and she basically wants to go wherever she's needed - even if it means being the wife of an extremely rich tycoon. Quite normal for a lot of beautiful girls.
She could not think of a good reason to reject, and since then she has been troubled because she doesn't know if she wants to accept the proposal or not; and troubled because she could not give a firm reply to Mr Tycoon. It's not that she is forced NOT to reject; but she doesn't know if she wants to accept the proposal or not. She's indecisive. Only reason she hasn't accepted it is because it would be a drastic change to her life.
But that was before; Takane is now here to finally give a firm reply to Mr Tycoon, because she was deeply impressed by the way Producer handled his acceptance of going to Hollywood. Producer accepted this drastic change so steadfast, and with such optimism. So she decided to make up her mind today.
*Lights come back on, Mr Tycoon sees that Takane is here*
Producer tells Takane and Mr Tycoon that they can't get married because he needs her. He needs her talent after he comes back from Hollywood, so that he can present Takane's song and dance to not just the whole of Japan, but to fans everywhere in the world.
And this triggers Takane's need to be needed. So with that she firmly rejects Mr Tycoon's proposal.
Mr Tycoon is disappointed at the turn of events, and tells Producer that if he really needs Takane's talent so much, that he can really do what he says he can, then winning the IA Grand Prix should be a clinch, right? Producer replies yes.
So Mr Tycoon makes a suggestion: how about, if Takane's idol unit doesn't win the IA unit - which would mean the Producer can't possibly need Takane that much and should move on to producing someone else - then Takane accept Mr Tycoon's proposal?
Without hesitation, Takane took up that suggestion and made the promise. Producer was shocked, and told her that she doesn't need to make that promise. But Takane says that she wants to, because this is the first time in her life she's the master of her own fate, deciding things on her own.
*****
After winning the IA Grand Prix, Mr Tycoon wishes Producer all the best after seeing Takane perform for the first time ever (he was really impressed and it reminded him of his younger producing days), and that he still wants Takane but will wait till Producer is done with producing her before he whisks her away... which Mr Tycoon says should be about in 100 years' time (basically this is his way of saying he'll let Producer and Takane do whatever they want).
Mr Tycoon leaves, Takane shows up, there was some talk but I can't remember... anyway the mysterious assailant shows up and tries to attack Takane. But Takane strikes him down, and says something about her not being her sister or something (can't remember).
Producer then realises that the assailant's true target is Takane, and asks her what is going on. Takane asks Producer if he's more interested in his past or future. Producer replies future. So Takane says she will continue being an idol because her fans need her; as for the mysterious assailant thing, she tells Producer not to worry because it's a personal problem (it's never revealed WTF is going on with this assassin bullshit).
In the True End, fast-forward to one year later when the Producer returns from Hollywood. Although he's been keeping an eye on the J-pop scene he has never seen [insert the name you gave Takane's idol unit] on the charts. At this point the radio station in the airport started playing a song by Silver Queen, a unit that has stayed on top for 30 weeks.
Takane shows up and greets Producer... even though the Producer kept the date of his return secret to everybody, including 765Pro and Kotori... so how the heck did Takane know he would be returning today? Takane says that she remembered Producer would be back in roughly a year, and so she's been coming to the airport pretty much everyday in anticipation.
Producer was shocked and tells her that if she comes here everyday, then obviously she wouldn't have time to tend to her idol duties and rank in.
Mr Tycoon shows up and tells Producer about Silver Queen, Takane's idol unit that she SELF-PRODUCED. Thanks to Takane's good work, she has really helped out Emperor Records. Mr Tycoon and Takane had a deal - something about Takane's CDs being exclusively sold in Emperor Records, in exchange for a chauffeured trip to the airport everyday.
Producer was shocked that Takane was so capable... 30 weeks as number 1. Takane laughs and says that it's nothing compared to what the Producer can probably achieve when [insert name you gave Takane's unit] is back together... like 100 weeks as number one in all the music ranking charts over the world or something. The Producer says he doesn't know about that but he will try his best and want to be with Takane in whichever region she wants to be produced at.
"Wherever? Then let's go and dominate the music sales charts on... the moon!" Takane says jokingly.

Yukiho:
(Thank you, BT2!)
You meet up with Yukiho who's feeling unsure about being chosen as leader and it turns out she's been doing some extra training in secret so she won't drag the other members down.
After beating RK you'll get the usual RK talk and Yukiho sees an unfamiliar guy and she runs off to the background :|
The evil Touma appears talking about the usual true strength is everything and getting along is pointless and makes Yukiho cry.
That evening you can't get in contact with Yukiho because you're worried about what happened earlier and aren't sure what would be best for Yukiho. You acquire some bgm and think it's a nice song and remembered that Yukiho likes to write poems.
You get a call from Yukiho and hear she's in front of the office and wants to talk to you.
You tell Yukiho you found an awesome song and want her to use it, but because of an earlier event Yukiho sort of snaps.
She angrily yells that even though she won earlier she wasn't happy at all because of a something a certain stranger said and that she's sick of everything.
Even though she's trying her hardest all the time she thinks that it's pointless and doesn't want to be the leader anymore, she runs off crying, calling herself useless.
P chases her and finds her.
He apologises to her and tells her, just like the kanji in her name means snow and step, that it's alright for her to take it slowly, just like walking on snow one step at a time and tells her he'll be there for her.
Yukiho cries and tells P she's sorry for what she said earlier.
Yukiho decides that she wants to be able to put her thoughts into words and that she'll work hard because she wants to change.
The day after you learn that your unit is nominated for the IA and you got reminded of the trip to Hollywood, you meet Yukiho in a bookshop and she wonders if it's destiny how the two met there.
She's looking for books on how to write lyrics so that she can study putting her thoughts into words but she hasn't progressed too far yet and asks producer for more time.
Producer wonders how long he'll still be there next to her.
Yukiho invites P on a date, but flusterdly says its lyrics training after P hears and repeats the word "date".
The next day the two go to various places doing various date-like stuff but P's being absentminded the whole time because he’s wondering what will happen to Yukiho if he left.
The two get near a construction site and Yukiho remembers that her father and his men's in charge of it and told P that he's a scary person.
If he ever sees Yukiho near a man on a day off he'll probably do frightful stuff to the guy...
Yukiho says she can't go into detail and wants to quickly leave the place but producer wants to greet her dad.
Yukiho doesn't think her father'll forgive her for being near a man but Producer doesn't want her to run away. Not now, not at the IA.
Yukiho already decided she doesn’t want to run away anymore and she fiercely decided she'll introduce P to her father.
It turned into dusk..
It turned into night..
P is still tired with his talk with Yukiho's father because Yukiho introduced him as "This person is a very important person to me"..
The misunderstanding got cleared up and Yukiho’s dad entrusted her to P.
Yukiho noticed that P was acting weird all day and wondered if P didn't like being with her but P tells her it's because he feels insecure on what to say to her but decided he'll tell it to the unit at a later time..
P noticed that today looked just like a regular date and how they didn't seem to have done something useful but Yukiho tells him she already thought up a theme earlier, thinking it was destiny.
P wonders what she meant and she runs off saying that today's a secret to the others.
The next week after Jupiter gets announced you meet up with Kuroi.
He spouts his usual stuff about true strength and potential thing and mentions that your leader Hagiwara Yukiho is afraid of men and won't be able to use her full strength neways.
*Insert the usual pep talk here*
“While it’s true I'm afraid of men, I'm not afraid of all men. The one I love is also..”
She says she'll be fine as long as P's near her and mentions that she'll be fine if she keeps the walking slowly on snow thing in her mind.
P feels saddened by his Hollywood secret
*insert the usual sad stuff*
Yukiho feels saddened and isn't sure if she's alright but she stays strong because she already decided something earlier..
W45
Yukiho invites you to do some more secret training at an amusement park. P thinks Yukiho was acting weird.
P wonders what makes it a secret training and Yukiho tells him she's collecting material.
P still thinks Yukiho’s acting weird; she's smiling all the time and sounds somewhat forced.
Though Yukiho said she had fun that day, P isn’t sure about that, he mentions that Yukiho didn't even smile wholeheartedly once.
Yukiho knew that P would find that out. She tells that today isn’t training because she sort of gave up writing lyrics; there's no reason for her to work hard to continue writing if the person she wants to hear the song isn't there anymore.
Saddened, she thinks it wouldve been better if they didnt met at the bookstore before if she knew this; while she was thinking of the theme “Me and Producer” Producer popped up in the bookstore and she believed it was destiny.
Yukiho can’t keep up with her façade anymore; she actually doesn’t want P to leave.
P tells her he’s sorry and that its okay for her to cry.
Yukiho says she wanted to hear those words, even though she still hasn’t found out what she'll want do until the day they part, she intends to find it out.
W53, the week before the showdown with Jupiter.
Yukiho was waiting for P and brings him to a concert hall owned by the Hagiwara group.
Yukiho intends to hold a live because it seems she's found out what her thoughts were and what she CAN do, Yukiho wants to learn to like herself! Up untill now she only worked hard because she thought she would bring the others down or because they'll leave her but now she wants to work hard to obtain what she wants.
P tells her that she should sing her new song after they beat Jupiter.
That’ll be the first step of the new Yukiho towards a a new first stage.
After beating Jupiter and winning the IA, Yukiho sings her new original song [First Step] but stops halfway. 0:00-1:53'ish
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-MVu7rOCws
It seems she’ll sing the 2nd part when P’s back from Hollywood.
Blushing, Yukiho says she has a secret she’ll tell P when he gets back.
One year passes and P returns.
He wants to return to everyone asap when suddenly he hears a familiar song but...
Enter a new, more confident sounding Yukiho.
After a pointless conversation Yukiho wants to sing the 2nd part of the song but it seems P just heard it on the radio..
It seems whenever Yukiho felt lonely she sang her song to herself but takagi overheard it and said she should use it.
When Yukiho asked P what he thinks her secret was P jokingly answers “Is it I love you or something? Just kidding.”
Yukiho tells him that’s no secret and there’s no point hiding something like that.
P’s thoughts go like: <does that mean she…>
It seems her secret was that the song wasn’t finished yet back then but she wanted p to have something to make think back of her.
