I want my old "it's all about strategy or nothing!" stuff back!
Also, apparently in the early days you can summon Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon without a single sacrifice, is that true?

Motorcycles, to be exact, but yeah. That's more or less the premise of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds.
But give it time. Before 5Ds came about, lots of people hated the idea or "card games on motorcycles". But do you know what they're saying now that the series shifted to ZeXaL? "5Ds ended too quickly!", "I wish 5Ds had more episodes!", "5Ds is the best Yu-Gi-Oh! ever!!" (Then again, it's worth noting that 5Ds had a darker plot and is quicker to kick it in than its predecessors)
And it's still about strategies. Riding Duels just made it.....er.....easier? Harder? Unique? I dunno. Riding Duels only show up in World Championship 2009-2011, if I recall correctly, and the game prompts you to learn how to play that. There is no such thing as Riding Duels in real life, so you have no fear there.

Yes. Cyber-Stein allows the user to pay around 5000 Life points (more than half of what you start with) so you can Special Summon any Fusion Monster from the Extra Deck, provided it doesn't have the "This can cannot be Special Summoned..." text. A standard tactic back then was to get Cyber-Stein out, pay the cost, Summon BEUD, equip it with Megamorph (it'll double its ATK with its effect, now that the controller's LP is guaranteed lower than the opponents) and have it attack, directly if no more monsters are left in the opponent's field, or with cards that give it piercing damage. This is what is known as the Cyber-Stein OTK. Currently, said monster is forbidden (can't use a copy of it) from play.

Really? Well, still not my stuff. I'm not so into Yu-gi-OH! Anymore after my deck was wiped out by 4 Dark Towers or something around that line (this card CANNOT be attacked if there is another dark monster in the arena...wtf?)

Oh... so there is a card to do that? My friend played a PSX Yu-Gi-Oh! game (where you don't even have field card yet) and he summoned Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon just like that (cheats ftw, but that's not the topic)
I started playing Yu-gi-Oh! on DS a few years ago and even then you need to sacrifice something
When did CyberStein get released? I never saw something like that on that DS game I played
Azem4144:
I only know an OTK when you have "Elemental Hero Sparkman", "Spark Blaster", "H - Heated Heart" or "Ebon Arrow", "Lightning Blade", "Honest" and "Assault Armor" while your opponent controls a high ATK monster...
Heard that 5D's ended earlier because of the Riding Duels? Probably they don't want it to become a big problem or influence the fans to do it for real which is very dangerous.

4 Dark Tower....what? First of all, I know only three cards in the TCG with Tower in their names and none of them sounds like the card you're talking about. Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower is as closest there is to what you're talking about. And second, you can only keep up to three copies per card, making that tactic utter BS. And that's if a card's not affected by the banlist.

Cyber-Stein is like one of the oldest cards in existence, probably up there with famous cards like BEWD and Dark Magician. If you're trying to get that out of a pack, you have perhaps a 1% chance of making it appear. Also, no NPC you'll see in the DS games will use it because of the banning of the card (banlists still apply there. lol).

There are many OTKs that can be done. Some of which can be done on the first turn of the player, or even the first turn of the Duel. FTK, or First Turn Kills, are some duelists' worst nightmares.

Though that can be true, what I heard the reason was Aki. Apparently, her riding suit and exposed cleavage became too much. Yeah, right.
