Non-spoiler Producer Talk
Setsuna:
Well, I forgot to take a screenshot, although this WAS broadcasted live, and I probably could pull the screenshot from there.
Hyper Run #6 Yayoi takes a shot:
Sadly, considering that Takane and Hibiki were upset about Chiyaya destroying Japan, Yayoi found out that someone removed the break option in its entirety. It still didn't stop her selling 7.5 million singles though.
Quick summary:
Nothing unusual with the rest of the report - She walked in, and destroyed everything.
She claimed number 1 twice - first time on song 4, then decided to RETAKE number 1 with song 4.
The problem of course is, dispite half a day, she simply could not get Megare! to go anywhere, even though we spent about 5 hours (yeah, I tried that many times) trying to get it to break.
The next run will be Yukiho, (And last before the Mami rematch will be Makoto) but I want to try some hijinks revolving around seeing how far I can take Hell's training and utterly destroying, well, everyone.
blake307:
Finished my hyper run with Makoto as leader and Miki and Chihaya as supporting members.
Hyper mode in my opinion isn't really that difficult as long as you know what you are doing and know how breaks, super breaks, and revives work. Though I did find it to be quite annoying when going for a break in my last song as it was luck based. I had to reset a few times before finally getting a break in my last song.
So overall I was able to get the S Rank in hyper mode with the help of a few guides.
With that said I am never playing Hyper mode ever again.
Naryoril:
i know how you feel
i'm currently on my second hyper run, this one is to get an S, the last one was to see how hard it really is. When i'm done with this run and have the trophy i want, i won't play hyper mode again, since it forces you to reload to get an S if you are not lucky.
Not to mention all the cash that is involved to get an S ranking... i'd rather spend it in the shops
Setsuna:
Only reason I play it is simply the fact I played the X360 version to completion and then some, and the game for me is trivially easy, so I feel a bit out of the water if I don't have cheating Vesperia AI, I guess.
Having a rank 10 doesn't hurt but well, there's been nothing that needs it. (Apparently to get to rank 10, you require a S rank to get from 8 to 10? I don't think it's even possible to go up with an A at that point.)
We do know that to keep producer rank 10, you need to run an S rank. An A rank of any kind apparently kicks you back to level 8.
Now, the odds of them requiring a rank 10 producer for DLC unlocks is unlikely. They did require rank 3 for the cat set, and a top 20 to buy the snow set though, so it's been done before.
Naryoril:
there is only one thing that needs producer level 10: the trophy (and the gold producer card but... yeah...)
so i guess what most people (myself included) do is to get to level 10 and then not care about it anymore. by that point you'll most probably always get an A, so in the end you'll fall back to level 8 and stay there.
