Just a note though: You can't purchase the Trophy/Achievement locked DLC unless you play on that profile/account. Ideally, you would play on the same account/profile that you'd purchase the DLCs on (which is why my Gamertag/PSNID are both Asian regions, but for slightly different reasons).

No. Some DLC accessories cannot be purchased unless you have certain achievements/trophies.

although the necessary trophies (for now) can be unlocked in one playthrough if you are good, 2 are easily enough if you aren't horribly bad and know what you are doing
so depending on how many playthroughs you already have on your main account it might not be worth it to switch. And so far no songs depend on trophies, just some accessories (and maybe cloths, not sure about that)

I was kind of taken by surprise at how expensive the DLC is since this is my first time. I was expecting to get a bit more than three songs and a Miku outfit for 100 dollars worth of yen. XD
