Yeah, I don't like Break!'s setup either.
Since NBGI moved the time to 3 months after their debut, the manga took advantage of this and made the producer an already-known figure by Chihaya, thus removing the awkward "nice to meet you" encounter like in Break!
The producer also seem to be a well-known figure in the office, although I concluded that only by looking at pictures. I can't read anything but the "sore de wa mata ashita" at the last panel of the intro
Speaking of which, the intro seem to say something about Chihaya, but I don't know what
Also, the office is the usual 765 with plasters on the window. Nice, at least it follows the game faithfully
I really can't take the drawing style after all. It's too shoujo manga-like. And there's a reason they're directed for shoujo and not for shounen, although there are times when the drawing style is not too apparent. As much as it hurts me to say this, overall I like Fujima Takuya better
This is how they look like:

There is something significantly different, but I can't exactly pinpoint what. Is it the mouth? The eyes? The face contour?
On a side note, DFC for everyone but Miki and Azusa
As for Chihaya, it really looks as if it's non-existent
