So the general flow of the scans:

1. Ryo is assaulted with romantic advances from other guys, as usual.

2. Saved by Makoto (who Ryo doesn't recognize.)

3. Ryo still thinks Makoto is a guy. And a manly guy, something Ryo aspires to be.

4. "If I become an idol like him, I can be manly as well!"

5. lol, Ryo's fate is sealed.

Wait so... Ryo, the the actual guy, doesn't realize that Makoto is not a guy and thus becomes an idol because he's inspired by him...

Well Makoto does look like a guy and evidently she never told Ryo that he... I mean she is actually a girl.
