I haven't tried to do a request since the compendium was introduced, so hopefully I'm doing this right ^^;;

I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but it used to take me about 30 seconds to request a song and just now it took me about a half hour to figure out all the shorthands, etc... if I'm just looking for a simple request, is it necessary to go about using all the codes? Just curious :x
That being said, I really do appreciate you doing this and I'll jump through the hoops if I have to, haha <3 All the screenshots in the compendium are really awesome cosplay references, too... our Takane especially will enjoy them I think 
The fastest way to explain why the compendium exists is to add up the current outstanding requests here, multiply them by 30 minutes each (record + encode time), then add up the L4U requests in the other thread, multiply them by 45 minutes each.
(Basically any request that hasn't been quoted by me and a result given)
Add in +15 to the im@s 2 total you derive from the counting, and +4 to the im@s L4U total. They are specialist requests made for MAD work and aren't lined up here for various reasons. (And have a 1.5x time multiplier due to the extra work inherently required for them, which makes them look more inflated).
Then add up both, multiply the entire total by an hour, then add up each of the three time totals.
That's the amount of time I'll have to spend just to get through them with the knowledge I know EXACTLY what you want. As in, I don't have to think about it.
You NOW want to add in extra unknowns because I have to derive what you actually WANT? Where I have to determine if you want 'Mostly black, kinda grey, black undergarment, black overgarment, how you want your scarf tied in, if you want baloons, or you mean hot air baloons, and did you mean the dark FES with the circlular outline, or the one with the octagonal outline?'
Now, I bet you don't realise there's actually a lot of subtile differences, because all you do is glance and go 'Yeah, I want something that sort of looks like this, it's only one request it's fine being vague'.
But at this end, all I have to ask is 'REALLY? I only have to decipher your request, and if more people follow suit, everyone else's vague requests.' I could easily charge billable hours for something I do for free you know, and you probably don't want me to do that (mostly cause it's more than I suspect you'd want to pay).
To make things worse - If I make a mistake on a record, I'm obliged to do a reshoot. Add an extra 1 hour and 30 minutes for a im@s2 video, and an extra 1 hour 45 minutes for an im@s 1 video.
Yes, I'm sounding really snappy, but I don't appreciate people who don't realise the logisitcs (particularly after I've covered the logistics before.) of getting a lot of video to a lot of people.
I actually may apply billing time for anyone who DOES expect the above for free.
