It's not really the hassle I'm concerned about, it's more the file size. I'm worried that it doesn't apply to just one or two accessory (or they batched it so there's a series of accessories that behave in the exact same way) , as opposed to each one being a curve ball.
My L4U one ended up documenting that change, and consequently blew out from 200MB to 800MB (Yeah, a 4x multiplier) and I had to downgrade the compendium jpeg quality by about 1/2 to get it down to something that wasn't nuts.
Well, I'll see how we go, I guess. It won't be a right now thing though, we're only been flooded to last week, and it'll take me a few days to grind through it.

On a serious note, my encoding is going well, but I've been having problems with youtube lately - Their java uploader's deciding to magically not work at random, and consequently needs a bit of a kick.
In short? There will be an upload glut, and things will be processed when they get processed.
