I don't think that Logan has a bad idea. It would be hard to limit the number of requests coming in, but it's true that if too many requests show up at once they get skipped rather easily.
Heck, I made a request myself in this topic that got skipped over XD I bothered to go through and do skipped (non-HD) requests because I can upload them relatively quickly for people that don't mind the quality hit so thanks for letting me fill your requests, guys!! OTZ I'm very sorry to those who expected more.
Of course it isn't rude to make requests, and it is the choice of the person with the recorder and the game whether or not they want to fill requests. But I don't think Logan's post is rude, either. We can't really filter or limit how many requests come in and when, but I think it'd be pretty easy for someone who's volunteering to record to feel overwhelmed by the amount of requests that come in (especially when they take an hour a piece to upload!).

Actually, I've been busy finalising the first version of my im@s 2 compendium, it's more of a quick reference book for those who don't have the game and need to make requests. I have two pending to fix before I do any new requests though.
See the signature for the link to the compendum (Although it's in the forum, check there too).
I'll also note that as of now, I'll expediete any requests using the codificaton.
For everyone else, it's amounting to "I have to spend extra time looking through the wiki and matching up names and double checking things" which IS going to take longer.
I won't be attending to im@s stuff until late tonight - I've got AT3 to do right now, and that's a streamed thing. I may pick up a couple, although I've got a couple to fix first.

Well if people felt like my requests were too heavy they could just ignore them, it is a bit rude for someone to blatantly point fingers at people on a thread...... I see no limit of request numbers and again I am not asking for them to be filled in any amount of time. It was a passive aggressive post obviously pointed towards the only person on the page who requested more than her supposed three. It is also not the job of the request fillers on here to fill the requests, it is at their leisure so I don't really think they should be worried about filling requests all the time......because it is a charity not a job. What I was saying was it came across as rude in the sense that it was very passive aggressive towards basically one or maybe two people. *sigh* So am I supposed to just wait 2 weeks before posting again........that seems totally counter productive, it is a handful of people visiting this site, and I don't think any requester really expect them to come in at any specific time......Perhaps request fillers are feeling overwhelmed when they need not be, since the people requesting are not demanding anything of them, just asking. I will agree it will help people not get skipped but can you really predict that enough to the degree that it would make a difference, what if everyone waits two weeks no one posts and then everyone posts at once, I don't really see how this will solve a problem. Again it felt like more of a finger pointing attack.

Ah. Well, I can't speak for Logan, but I don't think it was directed at you and meant offensively. I really think it was more of a modest suggestion than a "hey, you! Stop asking for so many videos!!".
Either way, hopefully your video requests will get filled soon. ;)
