Im still here! there are reasons i dont fill request.  obviously if i cant fill it due to the fact i dont have the costume (in most cases I dont buy every DLC costume that is released) but when people post multiple request; if there is one in there i cant fill, i wont fill any.  Its easier for the others to complete request by the post.  I just find it easier to tell whats been done and whats not

and i couldnt upload at all this week cause i hit my DL quota and was running at dial up speed lol.. GG uploading with that speed cause it takes an hour to upload a HD vid on youtube with normal running internet

And I think that explains the logistics of it pretty well. Sure, I can make the very quickly (It's about as fast as I can record it) but I can only upload to youtube so fast. Unless you're all willing to lend any one of us a dedicated line to upload faster well...

I'll also second the logistical nightmare of trying to figure out if half a post is filled or not.

I'm also pretty lucky in regards with costumes, but I also do MAD specific requirements (And for the record they actually contribute to my costs, so needless to say if they ask, they get piority for various requests, which is why I'm willing to put in 8 -10 hours work for them re: comments on Jupiter requests.) outside here too.

I also do recording work as a journalist, and I also have businesses that pay me for assignment work, (Which is also includes cost contribution for equipment) so that's extra pressure. My equipment costs are somewhat high - I'm STILL in the process of running two upgrades, and they're 1000 and 1500 AU. (To standardise capturing to HDMI standards, and to standardise a 2k 3D capture.)

But bear in mind, I do work way beyond a hobbyist.

In short, request filling is a free service (And given the time spent, there's a good case to run a tips service here, for time spent to fill them.) so I don't blame people for simply not filling requests. They're not obligated to, they've got lives and circumstances that prevent them, and some people simply don't want to.

If they were paid contractually to do so, that's a different story, of course... but we haven't seen anyone offer THAT yet.

No, no. I mean clarify which out of the 4 subcatergories it is (Floral/Luxury/Starry/Extend). I can't read Japanese, and consequently, sometimes I have to guess.

I'll work on the full reference guide at some point (Probably later today) since the beta I have out for MAD requests needs some updating and adjustments.

I've also found that I've learnt some new words (due to how some people describe the item) so making mistakes will be par for the course.

If it's any help, the wiki has a full costume list which goes in the same order as the game (with DLC in order by catalog release).

I'll do one better than that - I've just pulled out of beta my visual compendum that I hand to MAD creators I work with. It's basically a codified method of making requests (Which is REALLY handy when the other side doesn't speak the same language as you do) where you can (If you know how) fire off a string of numbers with a couple of words and they'll match up.

Haven't had time to ask someone to write a Japanese translation to the instructions, but I'll get to that eventually.

What can I say? I REALLY don't like making mistakes, and it's designed for a fast turnaround. I work with a few people and it's surprisingly easy to get a few of these and be able to see (And often troubleshoot) requests really quickly.

Now I just need to know where to upload the resulting file. I don't expect anyone here to use it (Or contribute to its maintainence for that matter) but who knows, it might faciliate and take any confusion out of requests.

I don't fulfill requests, but I think maybe people should give the video makers a little rest? I'm one to talk, but maybe only 3 requests per 1-2 weeks or something would be more fair. Some requests get skipped, and an easier way to fulfill requests is to have less of them XDD;; just a suggestion >__<;;

I don't think that posting requests is......rude.......or what ever you are trying to say. We are not asking them to fill them immediately we are posting them as soon as they come to mind so that they can plan when they have TIME to fill them....posting them spaced out wouldn't really make a huge difference...they will fill them when they want to.  Again we are not asking them to do it right now, nor are we ordering them to do it at all.  If they really felt like not filling the requests they just wouldn't fill the requests......I feel like your comment might leave some people bitter and you might want to think about what you are planning on saying before you post it on the internet, text can look a lot different then it would look with a tone behind it.  Again no one said they had to fill requests, we are all grateful that they do but they could simply just not look at the thread if they really didn't care......Your post seems rather pretentious,  again please try to consider WHY you are posting something and the situation....because it really didn't make much sense and only resulted in trying to make other people on the forum seem rude and yourself seem more caring. >->
