I imagine no one's picked it up - 1200MS points is the cost of this request, and to boot, you're required to be Producer rank 3 as well (Which is only about what, 30 hours of gameplay, assuming you get it done right from the word go?).

The request is now filled according to spec - Please find it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnZpr5FAYKc

Should I charge you for it at standard journalist rates (We'll be nice and I'll make it 23.50 US an hour but will file 15 hours instead of the full 30) as well as the DLC costs? :P

On a much more seriious note, I'll pick it up as part of the queue. It's being set up, but yeah, I've already got to book Meruru as a cost. Ah, im@s, Namco's licence to print money...

BT2:
Or get an A or S once after playthrough 1, it's easy if you take a look at KIRBYSIM's post in the gameplay thread and it only takes 7-9 hours per playthrough if one wants to savor the story.

Mind M@ster:
Thanks Kirbysim! I'll just link the vid around various places, if that's ok.

I apologise for the little rant I had earlier, I'm half asleep among other things. It's been removed, I'll assume you're permitted to jump Producer ranks (I was informed you couldn't on the JP wiki), and I'll assume (dubiously, considering the requirements and the number of stars that would have to align from a starting block start from my knowledge of the game so far) that a S is possible off the blocks first game.

I may attempt it (using a USB stick to start a new save game) on live broadcast, to prove if it can be done. (Although not fast of course since it will be live and people are always interested in the game itself, not just a technical analysis, but we can assume a 50% speed multiplier is possible, but as perfectly as it is possible)

For most part, I'm not particularly efficent, and I don't actually mind taking my time - in fact it's important I do NOT rush things - my play is often exhibition for other people consuming..

Then again you're talking with someone who had to put in 10 hours of gameplay a day for 6 days straight for a relatively small (large? Siiliconera is somewhere but not sure where) audience on a few occasions, and has had to play live games at various conventions on a demonstration basis. (Girls who play games seemingly are better recieved at conventions for some reason, particularly ones who can play. Not sure why, might be a hormone thing.)

Anyway, once again, I apologise for confusion caused, and I'm going to get some sleep.

How about letting people choose their unit names; tbh I wonder what people would name them if they get the option to.

Anyways, getting a S-rank without beating any of the uta-hime fes's might be hard or next to impossible and one'd be pretty much guaranteed to not see a best end because of it, if the ending doesn't matter we have a possibility.

If we look at a certain list we'll see that if one gets 1 A and 4 S evaluations and beat 3 special fes's, one'd still get an A-rank, getting 5x S and no special fes's gives an S. Because there's not much documented on evaluations; how much would 4 or 5 fes's affect overall score etc.
Assuming one won't be able to beat more than 4 special fes's and not sure how this will affect one's score I'll go with the 5xS route.

I'm not sure if 1st playthrough gave you the option to do special live early in the game, so we'll scrap trying to get a super break on 1st song, not sure if you can do this with song 2 either. Also, I don't think you could select paid promotions at the beginning either.
With a blank file, I think it might be possible to get in the top 20 with your third song if one gets a superbreak.
During the early weeks one should try getting a specialised charm early on in the game and getting beter items along the way when you make money, trying to spend as little time as possible on shopping.
Assuming one spends the first 18-20 training on one stat to get image level 16, having Koshiba boost twice, one'd have approx 35 weeks left.
Getting a 60k highscore later on in the game should be possible and not using a continue should be easy enough by then; We'll have 3 S's then.
Harder would be to get 1st on the charts, but it's not impossible assuming one got in the top 20 with CD 3. The easiest way of getting 1st is by atempting a revive with CD4, or a break with CD 5 if one's been building up a good amount of fans and a good score.
Getting 5.5kk sales would also involve building up a lot of fans and a good highscore but it should be possible with your last 3 CD's.
When getting more fans one should try having Ariake or Yamahara boost up as often as possible.

tldr; probably possible but it'd be a pain
