My apologiies, I'm still trying to hammer out some things (As well as answer some questions I've always wanted to figure out.)
I'm trying to determine if 720p59.94 is the best format to record in, or if results can be improved (for youtube anyway) via various cross conversions.
Bear in mind that when I mean better, I don't just count the picture quality - it also includes frame rates.
My song was used as the base.
1080p made via 1080i60 (It reported 29.97 on the raw video though...) -> Convert to 1080p59..94 via Trilinear deinterlacing - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXUcVgXuOLg
