Will definitely be taking requests too... if there's something not already covered by somebody else, of course. Gotta admire the outpour of love for iMAS in this community. *thumbs up*
Just tried setting up a live stream. If anyone's around I would appreciate it if you could go to the page (
http://www.ustream.tv/channel/kirbysim ) and just watch the stream (it's looping the intros for Marvel vs. Capcom 3; I need to go shower and get ready for an exam today) and lemme know the following things:
1) How long you watched the stream for,
2) Is the quality watchable?
3) How many times did the video pause while you were watching the stream?
4) Any other comments/feedback?
Did a bunch of testing myself and I'm pretty sure this is the best quality/framerate I can possibly put up (given my Core 2 Duo w/ 4GB RAM setup, and a pretty inconsistent ISP)... it's not very good, I gotta admit.
But I kinda like the idea of responding to requests live and stuff. So this is one small step towards that.
The good news is that even though the stream quality is so bad, I can simultaneously record the footage in HD (with very slight performance deterioration; almost unnoticeable) so I can post the footage to Youtube in 720p afterwards.
Here's the stream URL again:
