No, there was a Korean release. In Japanese, but it is an official release, as far as I am aware.

If you're buying online... you're going to be waiting a LONG time. Imports don't really come  down in price much. There are a few exceptions, but they're few and far between.

If you have access to a JP retail store, then that'd be much more promising!

I am fortunate enough that I can order from Amazon.jp, but it's 6,499 yen new, 6,380 used. I think the anime really kept the price up.

I already have the 360 version so I don't really care but I kind of want to stick to using my 360 for 2D games only.
