New idolm@ster anime

For some reason, I'm half expecting Azumanga-style 5/10 minute shorts, as if it were made from some 4-koma or something. But that's just me. Maybe they can string together in some loosely related over-arching way.

I have some money on this as well. Maybe I'm still fresh from the aftereffects of Lucky Star and K-On!, but seeing as that sells well in animation, Namco could take that route.

On another side of the table, I bet that it could actually have a stable plot, with various character focus from time to time, all leading up to the start of the game. I dunno, maybe part of me expects the same thing with Roots here.

I wouldn't mind if it were one of those animes that takes it a bit slow and are slice-of-life, like K-ON! or Lucky Star. I enjoyed them because of their relaxed aspect. Maybe it will follow just the idols' daily lives? Or it could focus on a certain character each episode.

I wanted to see a black silhouette-P but if that won't happen, at least Ritsuko is there. XD

I haven't seen anything wrong with the promo art besides fox-face Takane, and then once in awhile Yukiho's face looks like it's melting, but everything I'm sure will look fine once it's animated. Let's keep positive.

Poor Chihaya...it's just one of those things when flat-chested people's tops kind of gap out a bit or are baggy... XD

Well, they'd be pronounced the same, at least XD I think it's odd that they wouldn't romanize it the 'official' way, though...but then again, they couldn't keep Azusa's eyecolor straight either /nitpick I actually like that illustration at the top of the scan a lot.

Haven't we run into some weird "engrish" before with the anime team? Maybe they're using the animation people instead of the actual game where it is romanized the 'official' way.

Come to think of it, I wonder if there will be trios or groups in the anime. It isn't possible to divide them equally
unless Ritsuko becomes an idol.
