Project Jupiter might be added in the second half of the season. I'm hopping for a couple of flashback episodes. Especially with Hibiki and Takane's involvement with 961.

I agree, it would be interesting to have some interactions between Project Fairy and Project Jupiter, and some 961 flashbacks.

Take note that iM@S2's storyline takes place in a separate storyline from the rest of the games, including SP (Like every single game after L4U). They may have never been involved w/ 961 in the first place.

Yayoi's siblings? Azusa's mom?

Oh yeah. If I ask nicely, will they put them in?

Not to forget Chihaya's lil' brother (in a flashback), or worse, Yukiho's dad. :O

Anyway, I think they will. We can ask nicely together.

...Also, I wonder if Jupiter will be in this? I'm excited to see all the idols in anime form, but as for them...well, it might make the non-Jupiter lovers angry, so I'm not sure if they'll tread that path. But I hope they will! It'll make it more...dramatic. XD

It would be interesting if they put Jupiter in the anime...but it might make the non-Jupiter-loving fans mad. I mean, some people couldn't stand guys in the game in the first place. XD

And yes, typos...I am somewhat of a grammar Nazi myself, but I agree, IM@S was pretty good with spelling. Now it's turning to Engrish.
Jupiter was announced officially and will never change no matter how much those Jupiter haters hate them.

Well, what did ya know? I'm a Grammar Nazi myself. (Yay for spelling correctly! :D)

Yukiho's dad...would be interesting to see what goes on in that family. XD

That's why the fact they got only one small picture in gameplay page of iM@S 2 amusing. I mean, they deserve better. After all, they're one of the main points in iM@S 2: more rivals

I know, Jupiter isn't bad. And I look forward to seeing the girls beating on the guys XD But some fans responded pretty negatively when they learned that there would be guys in the series...there's always  extreme people like that. But obviously, they're here to stay and I'm sure they'll become important characters in the future. But again, considering the majority of IM@S fans are guys, of course the girls will always be more focused on. (I'm a female fan myself. ^^)

They probably really cut back on the Jupiter-related stuff because of the crazy negative fan reaction. Even though they had said that Jupiter is staying in the game no matter what, I guess they don't want any more fans going "BAWW MEN IN MY IM@S *break everything*".

Though, using the same screenshot we've -been- seeing on the back of the case is a little disappointing (though, they did the same thing with RK, didn't they...)

You captured the fan reaction perfectly. Win.

Well at least there's a few of us who don't mind men in our IM@S... XD

But there's a possibility that they will not follow the game's storyline completely and combine both of SP and iM@S 2's timelines together.

Possibly. But I don't wanna people to get their hopes too high (Plus why waste money for the writers to merge two storylines, rather than making one brand new).

As much as that is the likely reaction (lol), I actually like to see them in the anime. I mean, sure they may gain character development later in the end (with their heel face turn), but I wanna see some info about them in the anime, like why did they choose to become idols, background, potential shipping points.....

Jupiter might not get their share of attention, at least in the first season (if there ever is the second season). This anime could be one of those "introductory" anime, where character backgrounds need to be explained, unlike many other animes where they have light novel and manga featuring the same story backing them up with reputation (like TWGOK or Ore no Imouto)

Explaining 13 people is long enough (if Kotori is to be counted, 14 if Ami and Mami are separated), let alone explaining more than that, and squeezing in filler stories.

Random post:
I'd like to have the producer as a human-shaped black shadow like usual. Moving and talking, but nothing more than a solid shadow, with a letter 'P' on his face, just like portrayed in 4-komas. LoL it will be very amusing, and unique too. Wonder if they ever thought of that?

Heh. Actually, I presented this idea to someone while I was on MSN. My catch line that time was, as I remember, "That way, they can make an anime about iM@S, not give away anything in the game, and advertise it at the same time!"

The P-faced portrayal? Probably, but might deem too hilarious to be taken seriously. The black shadow works too, or maybe an actual figure wearing a suit, with the camera refusing to focus nor capture his head.

It got me wondering what kind of reactions will the girls do when they see Jupiter?
