The more popular this show becomes among the pirates the better. High piracy rates with fansubbing have led to shows getting licensed and if this show becomes popular enough in general internationally it would improve the odds of region free console releases.

Seriously, no. The game's too weaboo for that and is unmarketable because of culture differences and characters' age combined with suggestive content, also we're talking about NBGI here.
If anything it'll only attract spamming kiddies who know squat.

The truth hurts. D:

But at least if iM@S becomes a bit more popular in the States I'll be happy. I cosplayed as Haruka in her Cute & Girly outfit and someone thought I was Madoka, seriously.

I actually think the inverse. I don't want the game to be in America...That would ruin all of it. Ruined a bunch of animes already.

They don't know either series at all, do they?

Better than cosplaying as Oogami Ichirou from Sakura Taisen and nearly being mistaken as Joker from Read or Die... by the creator of Read or Die.

Then having a Yomiko overhear this and think I was Joker. I gave up at that point. Sorry if you're on these forums, Yomiko... I was busy being depressed to say who I really was again.

Whatever. I hope there was some reason behind all those MA2 albums and their new songs if they aren't in the game. They sound anime OP like.

The idea of an American release doesn't really appeal to me either. I don't want an iM@S dub, and I think even Bamco has said that they couldn't find quality-enough American CVs to undertake such a huge project. And just the idea of an iM@S dub...I'm so attached to the Japanese CVs, so the only way I'd accept an American release is if Bamco just subbed it and kept everything else. Let alone the genre isn't that popular (and even looked down upon) in the U.S. :P

By the creator? That really is awful. XD
Maybe the MA2 albums were just released since iM@S 2 was released, and considering Yukiho being voiced by Azumin and Mami getting her own album, so they're more iM@S2-verse oriented. I think Smile Taiso would make an adorable anime OP, though...especially if it happened to be a Yayoi-centered anime. :D

If only the game could be simply translated, and remain distributed or up to sale for the real fans only...

They give NBGI future DLC fuel

Just like an international-release sort of thing...where you can just go to the options menu and turn the subtitles to "English" XD

As long as there's no voiceover for them and it'll be alright.

New update on the anime website! Not only Illustration #06, but also a little sneak peek on the people who wrote the songs in iM@S.

Oh freak.  Why did it take me until now to realize this could happen?

I'll be sticking with you guys through most of it, but if it becomes really bad, I might take leave for a month or so until it cools down.

That new illustration is so cute <3
I hope that there is tension between the twins in the anime. That would be some spicy drama!
