TweenDoriru:
I think that it's different as far as Japan goes and as far as other places go...after all, most of the guys I know wouldn't touch a game that involves dressing up girls and making them perform on stage. XD I don't see a problem with guys liking Jupiter at all, really...I just wouldn't expect to see them like "kyaaaa~~! Jupiter!! *insert other fangirl cliches*".
One of the guys I know IRL started showing more interest in iM@S because Jupiter showed up, in fact...
Given that the fanbase can be a little extreme (Yurishii got death threats from fans, didn't she?) I wouldn't risk putting the CVs of Jupiter on stage...not with the Japanese fanbase's potential reaction :s

Not to mention they are your rival so that doesn't help them either.
I'm even a girl and I don't care about Jupiter. :VVVV

That's true. I mean, some guys respect Jupiter and think they're decent, but they're not necessarily "fans." There are straight guys that like Jupiter too--but it's not like how a girl would like them because they're cute. Anyone can like characters just for their demeanor or the music. And usually the rival characters are meant to be disliked (at least a little) anyways because they're your rivals after all.

There should! Yes, there should.

Most of the fans either don't care about Jupiter or it's the dis/like thing.

:/ But, I still want Jupiter in my iM@S.

*sigh* I guess every person has a different taste, not all people like Jupiter...

I love this, it makes me think of Mitch Hedberg; "They either loved us or they hated us...or they thought we were okay."

Well, Jupiter is a part of the iM@S series now, whether the fans want it or not. They get birthday acknowledgement, at least...
Jupiter is kind of a step or a few beneath the female idols in popularity, but, of course (and NBGI probably knows this), giving people that don't like Jupiter a bunch of in-your-face Jupiter stuff isn't going to make them change their mind and like them D: I guess worst-case scenario is that they get 876Pro treatment in the future.

That quote is perfect to describe Jupiter. Fangirls love them, some guys hate them (I've yet to meet a girl that deeply dislikes Jupiter), and some guys and girls think they're okay.
876pro...what 876pro? Who's that? ...JK. But yeah, sadly, it's likely Jupiter will get the same treatment as our friends in 876pro a few years later. Unless they decide to make an iM@S: Boys Side. >:D But that likely won't happen either.
