Yeah a lot of big difference. And the fact that it's only getting a sub is pretty disappointing. (Well, I wasn't expecting this in the first place)

Maybe it'll surpass all expectations, generate tons and tons of money, and we'll get Xenoglossia in SRW.</sillydreams>

Testing the market? ... By ignoring all comments except for ones about the characters? ^^

... Whatever, I'm more interested in what more new they could do for the next Im@s game. Maybe America/Americans will be involved in the setting. Got me.

Except Xenoglossia's graphics and art aren't really up to par with 2012 standards... Even 5 years is a big difference.

Imagine a totally american IM@S with different characters doing concerts and lives around america.

That would be interesting, but I find it hard to imagine that sort of franchise in North America, especially from a video game with almost no reputation over here. But you never know...

I have yet to watch Xenoglossia all the way through, but once I watched it and like it, I will buy it to support the franchise in hope that they bring the main anime here. I just hope that the whole series is on a complete set though. It still is an iM@S anime.

I'm disappointed that they aren't bringing the main anime to the U.S., but I don't see it being impossible in the future. The only problem would be what they would do about the songs if they decided to dub it, so it would likely be a sub-only release, which I'd still find worth it. I don't hate Xenoglossia, but it does have the issues of using different voice actresses and being completely different from the actual series. However, I do know some iM@S fans who discovered the iDOLM@STER games and music through watching Xenoglossia first and they enjoyed them, so it might finally shed some more light on iM@S in the States.

More often than not, songs aren't dubbed even when the show is. The songs don't necessarily force it to sub-only.

VERY nice. Me jelly.
Also, didn't they (some of them at least) feature additional CDs?
If so, double jelly - I loved the Jazz rearranges from the first one and I'd love ho have a physical copy of it...

leaving iM@S aside, the White Box Of Censorship is makng me damn curious... ;-)

Let's seee...

Volume 1 = 17,380  Yen
Volume 2 ~ 9 = 66,080 Yen
------------------83,460 Yen
In USA dollars = 1,053 dollars

and that isn't counting shipping!
*Faints* That's pretty expensive >.< Well, that's seems reasonable for that many items.

Looks like the G4Us PS3 disks aren't even open.
