Still, if they use THAT kind of artwork for the anime, I won't complain.

Although deep in my heart I still hope I get to see a piece of OVA that uses 3D render iM@S 2 style, just like how CyberConnect make pieces of movie for Naruto Shippuuden for PS2 using the in-game models

Those pieces are awesome beyond badass. You really can't capture 30 fps without 3D

This is awesome there's going to be an anime. I've already been talking to every sub group I know about it and I know at least one good and quick group will be doing it. I was also considering setting up a project with people from other groups to do it, so if anyone's interested in being a part of subbing it hang out on rizon more and let me know. I can also confirm I *will* be intending on hosting every subbed episode for ddl on my site, no way I could miss it. I have the OVA and Xenoglossia already. I wont link as thats spammy unless a mod says its ok, but googleing my nick usually works.

I'm wondering if its going to be more general, not so much on IM@S 2 deal, start early so more story area to cover, initially be 13 episodes to see if it sells well on dvd, if its a hit, then run it for like ever, like Love Hina, YUA or Bleach and just keep on going over the whole franchise for as long as it keeps selling, unfortunately milking it for every penny and meaning it never gets anywhere or ever has a proper end and just one day stops lol. I know thats bad but...I'd be in heaven lol.... And just think of all the 'cosplay' excuses? Infinite costumes, infinite excuses for fan-service, figurines, add-ons, cds..... $$$$ Namco.

I'm torn. I didn't want to buy im@s 2 in the first place, but now this. Hopefully their merchandise comes out while the anime is still airing. I hate getting everything 5 months after the anime is over.
I'll need a part time job...

But if they had released the anime+manga before the game, I bet fans would've been more pumped about it.
But also, I guess it gives them to make the anime look better...

Yukiho's face does look a little off, but they'll probably add some better finishing touches.

Isn't the magazine one of those weird cases where it's the march issue, but it comes a few months early? After all, I don't think they'd lead up to "hey, check out the Megami magazine January 29th for info!" if it didn't come out until March.

Iirc when Gemaga had that iM@S2 DVD, it was the December issue but it came out in October or something.
