Question about Australian usage of JP/Asian Xbox 360s

Okay, I really want an answer to this for obvious reasons. I... highly doubt I'm in the wrong area, but if I am, I apologize.

Alrighty, here's my question. If I was to purchase a new Asian Elite Slim 250GB Xbox 360 from PlayAsia, what exactly would I need to do to use it in an Australia home? And would an Asian Xbox 360 even work for me or do I need to purchase a Japanese Xbox 360 instead? I don't see why I'd need to get a Japanese one over an Asian one but hey, gotta make sure. This is alot of money on the line after all.

I have a good feeling it will involve a voltage converter, but I know next to nothing about things like that. I tell myself I know my electronics, but that's a big fat lie. Hell, the only reason I know about the voltage converter is because of Picup in the Holiday topic. >_>;

Also yes, I have googled this but all I keep getting are answers pertaining to American issues only. Perhaps I suck at searching for stuff? Bah, I don't know.

Look up Japan (or don't, it's 100 V at 50Hz Kansai and West, 60Hz East of Kansai, using a Type A plug). Afterwards, look up your own country.

Input from the wall is your country, with your plug.
Output is anywhere from 100 V to 120 V, at either 50Hz or 60Hz, using a Type-A plug (the X-Box 360 end).

Find the appropriate transformer. Keep in mind, this is just for the Japanese XBox 360. For reference, the Japanese XBox 360 transformer is rated at 100 V to 127 V, from 47 Hz to 63 Hz. I can't speak for the transformer that comes with the Asian version, but according to the above, it's good for the 220 V range or so.

Concerning the original post, it says Australia uses I-plugs exclusively. If the Asian edition doesn't come with an I-plug, then you'll just need a cheap converter (if your voltage is the same as the Asian edition, you won't need to transform voltage). Try a hardware store if this is the case - I don't live in Australia and have never been and neither do I own the Asian XBox 360, so I don't know for sure. I don't think it'll be expensive, as a simple three-prong to two-prong converters in the States cost like a buck (the problem might be finding the one you need, though). You might be able to just order it, look at the plug, then walk to the store/shop online.
