I wonder how you get the rare cards? Is it from the booster packs or something?

Every booster pack contain 8 cards, 1 of those card is a Rare card, 1 is a climax card, 2 is Uncommon, 4 is Common.

Every booster box contents 20 packs.

Every Carton contains 16 boxes.

I don't see them anywhere at all. All they have is the trial decks. Maybe they haven't order those. I do see the Madoka trial packs which are tempting.

If you end up getting some rare things in there (which I think you're guaranteed to) you might end up good.
Also if you get those tickets so you can get the prizes.

That would mean that I have to open the packs to see what I got then. I would like to sell them as packs, but some of those rare cards can be worth more than a single pack. So how would I do this then? Open some packs to sell individual cards, sell some packs, and keep the rest?

The only thing you can feel out of a box is the foil or sign. The rest is up to luck.

And unless you got experience in opening foils from a pack, then its up to luck again.

That reminds me of YuGiOh. Never buy loose boosters off the internet. They're guaranteed to not hold anything valuable since they are scaled (Good cards are foiled, and therefore weigh more). Similar methods are around for nearly any TCG/CCG (even MTG, which I play a lot).

That being said, always buy sealed boxes off the internet. Only buy loose boosters from reputable physical retailers (who have more to lose performing the practice).

Yes, YuGiOh cards are like that. It isn't such a useful method nowadays since there are rarities that are less detectable to scales (ie. they are a very similar weight to average cards). In WS, SPs are also foiled, and I have reason to believe they are also heavier. However, it isn't a very ethical practice. I don't condone doing so in any case.
