in imas 1 they're following the color & member of the SP games with green getting the 'enemy' characters.

in imas 2 it's the Master Artist 2 unit placement with the same theme. Yellow gets the unit with more childish characters, red middle, blue mature & again green gets the unplayable characters.

Someone linked this handy guide to play WS online via some modifications to an existing card game software, but appearntly it works! IM@S hasn't been added yet but if anyone wants to learn/play the game, give it a try! :D

Or you can wait for the WS PSP game when it is out but I don't think Imas 2 will be in the game.
