Weiβ Schwarz is a card game with anime characters.  Refer to this site for more info.

Then you have import tax, tariffs, jacks up from retailers..

It's be like 20+ in the states!
In Canada it would be 3 times as that!

If it's under $20 in play-asia I might get a starter pack just for kicks.
Got time? Know Japanese, then please help out with the translation project!

How is WS as a cardgame, btw?
A few guys around me are gonna buy the trial deck at the end of the week (me included), but we have no idea about the rules.

Looking over the website, it seems like a pretty darn luck based game as opposed to skill, which bothers me somewhat.
(Although not that it matters too much, since I play Yugioh, which is pretty darn luck based as well. Not to mention the awesomeness of making a Makoto-Nanoha crossover deck.)

At the local cardstore, without preorders.
More specifically, I'm gonna hit Amenity Dream at Kichijouji first (since a friend works here), and if they are out of stock, go to Amenity Dream at Shinjuku.

After that, if I still can't get it, I'll lurk around Akihabara and curse myself for not preordering.

Oh man, I wish I could get a hold of these.  I used to play a bunch of card games, it'd be fun to just collect these.  Hopefully these cards will become easy to find over time or something.

Get a friend from Japan to send it over!
Or wait until there's a website with them!
