'Special Rare' gold printed 'signed' cards.
Sure is interesting how everybody's already selling (nearly)full sets of all the cards.
Shame on everybody for selling stuff before the official launch date.

Yea, Kotori doesn't have an official signature, lame..

Yes. As very, very rare cards.

Most card shops actually have the boxes instore already, so I assume those cards are ones leaked by cardshop workers.
Shame on them.

That's the power of the card. Iori has 8000 points because it's a level 2 card (Which means she's harder to summon).

Played a 4-man booster draft match today.
Not my money, so the cards went back to the friend who bought the box.

However we pulled this:

Also I find confused Miki cute, and Hibiki trying to fish Yayoi with saataandagii looks surprisingly erotic.

Recently i got interested in this TCG. Happens that there's a group of people here that's dedicated to bringing Weis Schwarz to Singapore and they have a shop selling these cards. Told me that their stock of im@s boosters are going to come here next week or the week after.

I don't have pics now but i'll try to scan any cards i have in the future. Just for the lulz i'll probably be scanning the fan-translated game manual.

Lastly, if there's still any more questions regarding how this card game is played...
This link will help.

Edit : Database of the iDOLM@STER cards.

Rarities in the following.

Common ones.
C = Common, U = Uncommon, R = Rare.(RR = Double, RRR = Triple) SR = Special Rare. Special Rare is not used by itself, but with R and RR, in this case meaning that its a Special Double Rare. Triple Rare is just like Special Rare, but is more rare than Special Rare due to certain patterns(they didn't explain this). Similarly, RRR is used with R and RR. (Correct me if i am wrong)

Rarity terminology used only by Weis Schwarz.
CC = Climax Common, CR = Climax Rare.

Climax cards are cards which "relieve" a particular memorable scene from the series. In im@s's case it'll be cards such as "I Want" and other m@ster songs, as well as the 765 Productions card people got from pre-ordering im@s SP back in February, if anyone hasn't forgotten.

The trial deck section below has the list of the cards you get from the starter deck. The text description(not Special Effects text. Its the text that you see in all trading card games for the lulz) from the TD is different from those you get in the booster packs. For instance the TD's I Want's description is "そこに跪いて!", but the one that you get in the booster pack's description is "もっと啼いてみせて!". The image may vary as well(meaning they have the same card name, but different images, for example facial expressions, or the art).

PR stands for Promotional Cards. 765 Productions is an example of such a card.

As you can see, the rarest in the im@s database as of today for a non-Climax card would be a RR SR rarity type. As for a Climax card, it would be a CR SP.

P.S. That Haruka card that Pizzaman pulled out was a R SR. Congratulations to your friend though because he gets to keep it.  :P

WeiB Schwarz trading cards!

I have no clue if these are limited edition or if they'll continue to be around, but I saw some of them on Dearly Station 2.5 XD They look like nice cards (though, I've never done trading cards before. Missed out on the Pokemon card phase). I especially liked the printouts they had of the MA song cards...
I know both of these are out now, but I don't know the difference between the top set of cards and the bottom set, either. 8 in a pack, 1 pack for 330 yen?

The top one is a trial deck. It has the same 50 cards you see in all starter packs in it. (Pizzaman posted about it a few pages back)

The one below is a Booster pack box. A box has 20 packs. A pack has 8 cards. Buy a pack for 330, or 20 packs(the box) for 6600, with a slight bonus(a playing mat for instance) along with it.

Edit : Adding on, the images that you see below are the stuff that comes along with it. I myself am buying an entire box.

I wouldn't have anyone to play it with, I'd just collect them.

I'm really an art-geek, so I could collect them simply for the art on the cards~
I'm sorry if it's already been posted in the forum, but can you purchase these off the internet, or do you have to go to a store to buy them (because then, I'm out of luck XDD)

Oh! and is that 50-cards + etc. for 1300 yen still for sale or was that a limited thing? @_@

I wouldn't mind collecting these for the art, though I won't do that or I'll have bits of card and paper everywhere due to too much appreciation.

The playing mat is a special bonus for those who order by the carton, not by single boxes.

That being said, a LV2, 0 cost hand-retrieval seems broken to me.
But then, WS itself is a super luck-based game.

I was always a fan of Weis Schwarz since the Persona 3 TCG came out (which wasn't that long ago tbh), so seeing the Im@s ones make me want to buy the pack for the sake of just staring at the art (like most x: )

I remember seeing an ad for the Im@s Weis Schwarz cards on Nico.  Funny enough, the one I want the most is the freckin' playing mat...

Oh. Well that doesn't really matter. I'll try to strike a deal with a few guys owning a Weiss Schwarz shop in town about it. Most likely they'll buy several boxes at the least, or even 1 carton. I'll try to see whether i can get my playing mat from there. I am definitely not going to pay 1.1k USD for that mat, but i don't mind paying 150 - 250 USD for it.

At first i wanted to buy it for the sake at staring at the art as well. But it seems that there's quite a big community of Weiss Schwarz players here(especially in the shop i mentioned earlier, you'll definitely see some of those players on weekends) so i want to try it out. If it grows on me long enough, i might even buy the other decks.

Come to think of it, i bought that deck right off at an event and it so happens that the shop hosted this Weiss Schwarz tournament and there's a huge load of players, and one of the 3 lucky draw prizes during that event happens to be a im@s PR card(1.5k power Haruka), but too bad i can't participate in it.
