Finished a revised version of the translation of this I did like a month and a half ago. Thinking that maybe someone out there can use this, I decided to pop it up on the internet.
http://www.mediafire.com/?ffnx0d4fj84kpxuAs far as I know, this was the first Im@s manga that wasn't an anthology, making it the first official Im@s manga. Never made it past one tankobon (seven chapters), but it's still a fun read. There's probably a bit I could improve on, but for me (not a writer), I think I did well enough that I'm comfortable just handing this thing out. Or at least I hope. I also hope the references I threw in aren't too awkward. See if you can spot them!
If you got the tankobon, but can't read it, well I hope the problem's solved. If you don't, here's what you need to find it.
THE iDOLM@STER (アイドルマスター)
Hinata Yaya (稍 日向)
Original Creator: Bandai Namco Games (バンダイナムコゲームス)
Serialized in Comp Ace (コンプエース), Volumes 003 to 009 (三号~九号)
Published by Kadokawa Shoten (角川書店) under the label Kadokawa Comics A (角川コミックス・エース)
You can find it at Amazon.co.jp (will ship this internationally), or you could try your luck at cons. Keep an eye out if you liked the script! Translated manga in the States cost what, 10 bucks? Add another 10 at most and you can probably nab this straight from Japan.
If you're lucky enough to be in Japan, for whatever reason, I think book stores categorize their manga by publisher, then label (alphabetized by title last), so look for the Kadokawa section.
