I dated some Japanese girls, they were all nice :P
Okay, now I'm officially jealous at you, what with Chuck Norris not sipping tea with me every afternoon with epic old British mustache

Of course, that's the topic's purpose.

Should I record that Little Match Girl and use it for my ringtone or not?

Or/and SMOKY THRILL at that

Also, I still think screaming "I go to work by skiing!" is worth the pick. After all, you can own those losers going to work by car

My computer chair makes creaking noises if I'm not sitting absolutely still, and they're transmitted through the floor to the room below me, so I need to get a new one. Everyone probably has a chair of some sort; can you guys recommend me one that's completely silent (and is still silent after months of use)? Also, it would be nice if the chair was easy to assemble, has adjustable height and has no leather.

Hey everyone. I need to get this Miku concert UMD shipped to the US on or before September 24. So how can I get it here ASAP? Should I buy it from ebay with EMS service? Or would it be faster to use Rakuten with the Tenso forwarding service? Or is there an even faster option?

Edit: Here's an update - Since it was probably best to get the order in before the start of business hours in Japan, I just placed my order. I went with the ebay seller because I read that Tenso uses EMS too.

Eh... well, for what it's worth, the last time I used... well, my usual JShopper's Tenso (not sure if it's Rakuten's Tenso), I got my stuff seven days after I ordered it. They say they use EMS, but I've never seen them come to my doorstep with anything less than DH freakin' L.

They got bombarded with a bunch of orders in the spring or summer, the order I placed past then was pretty fast.

D'oh! Oh well. I'll just hope that my package doesn't get stopped in its tracks by customs. Thanks anyway. :)

Random questions that bother me right now:
Pokemon X or Y?
Ahri or Fizz for Plat(League of Legends)?
Jude or Milla for new game plus(Tales of Xillia)?
Pepsi or Sprite?
White shirt or Black shirt?
iPhone 5 or Galaxy Note II?
Air or Kanon first(Anime)?

I have $500 to spend on the side for Anime related goods, most notably Idolm@ster goods. What is suggested?
Note: Hibiki figure is a must no matter what happens even if I am able to buy Namco with that money.

Pepsi or Sprite?

I've gotta choose a third option: neither. High fructose corn syrup is awful. ;D

iPhone 5 or Galaxy Note II?

If you're gonna get an iPhone, consider also the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C! :D

Pokemon:
Depends on which Pokemon designs you like more, including Mewtwo's two mega forms, which you can see near the end of this video.

LoL:
It depends on who you like more, but if you're looking for a better champion, Ahri seems to be pretty strong right now.

Tales of Xillia:
Milla. She has an iDOLM@STER costume..

Pepsi or Sprite:
Pepsi has caffeine, which is a drug that can be addicting. It also gives you energy about an hour after you drink it, but you start to crash after that.
Sprite doesn't have caffeine.
Both drinks are unhealthy, though.

Shirts:
Depends on how hot it is. If it's hot, wear a white shirt. If it's cold wear a black shirt. You're also not supposed to wear white after Labour Day according to some people, so black is a safer fashion choice from what I understand.

Phone:
It depends on what you want. Definitely wait for the 5S or 5C first. The Note is also a lot bigger. Even if you don't have an iPhone, you can still get an iPod Touch later, which has very similar functionality.

Air or Kanon:
Kanon came first, so I suggest watching it first. I also suggest the 2006 version because it seems to have nicer art than the first one, as you can see here:

However, if you're in the shade, a black shirt may be better in hot weather because a white shirt will reflect the heat from your body back at you. I'm hardly an expert on this sort of thing, though.

I'm fairly sure that black absorbs more light, and not necessarily more heat. It's just that the light energy being absorbed by a shirt heats up the shirt. If you're in the shade, there's probably no difference between how each shirt colour affects your temperature.

When you draw in anime/manga style, after drawing in pencil do you ink the eyes first or last? The book I'm learning from says that you're supposed to ink starting at one of the top corners so you don't end up smearing the ink, but my markers dry pretty fast so smears aren't a problem.

Do you use a drawing compass to draw circles? I'm not very good at drawing circles freehand, and it takes me quite a few tries before I get a circle that looks reasonable.

Personally, I like to do eyes last. That's just because I'm really particular about my eyes, though, and put them off as long as possible to avoid messing them up. XD
But in all seriousness, I think it depends a lot of the hairstyle of the character and the position of their face. I'd say you should ink everything obstructing part of the eyes (if there is anything) first.

For me, I either grab a water bottle or something else circular to make a circle (when I feel like being really professional) or just freehand it. I think it depends. If you're actually going to need the circle to be a perfect circle, I'd say to use a compass. If you're just using it for reference (like drawing a head, for example), you're going to end up erasing most of it anyways, so it should be fine to just be freehand.

That probably didn't help, but whatever. :P

ONWARDS, AOSHIMA!!!
