The old table doesn't look chaotic to me as long as my browser window is maximized, but regardless, your table would be a lot easier to work with. Having the kanji, romaji and translation grouped together like that when editing, I mean.
Maybe you could throw a poll over it in the wiki discussion section?
I do think it might look better with a border though.
EDIT: didn't notice this at first... but the External Links being where they are isn't part of the plan, is it?

I too think it looks good.
I don't know how hard it would be to do, but making the columns collapsible might be an idea. It would be convenient to be able to just view one or two of them.

I don't know if collapsible columns is possible, I don't see it in the wiki help.
The border thing only went around the entire table, but there is also class="wikitable" which looks pretty neat, check it out.

Well... this might just be me, but for me they show up to the right of the lyrics table instead of at the bottom of the page where they used to be.

Ah I see it, it looked normal in Firefox, but not Internet explorer. The table was set to accept more text on the right.
