Buyed a new PC. And i wont start. Build it from Scratch and always was keeping in check that everything will work with each other. Wenn I try to start it nothing happens expect that the red light of the graphics card shine for a milisecond. I tried everything and I dont think I screwed up the wiring. Damn is that anoying and I dont know what else I could do.

And now im sitting here and typing in that with my PS3.

Not sure if this belongs in games, but eh. It's not like I care. If you're sure you got all the right wires plugged in where they should be and haven't missed anything...

It's a crap shoot, but on-board lights mean something - a blinking red light in the right spot could indicate that... I dunno, maybe you've got a non-booting BIOS and need to reset it or something. If there are any on your motherboard, you might want to take a look at your motherboard manual to see (if you can find where they say) what it means. Your graphics card may have some too, but I haven't really seen this sort of stuff on them. Don't know if you can glean anything out of this, but a slim chance of helping is better than no chance of helping.

Just in case, I wouldn't turn it on for too long at a time though. There's a chance that bad power could be getting supplied to it. I'd think that a good power supply would take the hit for whatever it's connected to, but you never know. If you've got another power supply that can connect up to your motherboard sitting around, maybe you can try that.

Come to think of it, maybe even check your Power SW jumpers in case something happened to the cables. Maybe the soldering to the power button got cut or something (yes that sucks, but you can order replacements). If you're feeling brave, there are ways to start the computer without hitting the power button on top of the case. Google for it if you're feeling comfortable or desperate enough, just don't mess it up or you could blow something that could have been just fine.

This is all shot in the dark, though. It may give you some pointers, but it might not be exactly what you're lookin' at.

I wish.

All of 'em are going to be there? If it's that big, here's hoping they announce number 3.

Cheers, mate! By, you're into football, I'm guessing you mean the sport where you actually use your feet to move a ball, as opposed to the sport where occasionally a ball-like object is kicked very far, and very high.

Me personally, I kinda wanna branch out as far as Japanese music goes, but the classic I'm not in Japan problem kinda puts a damper on things. I was recommended Sakanaction who I find pretty good, and there are a few doujin circles I usually buy from, but that's about it. Speaking of which, Comic Market 90 ended a week or two ago, and I can probably get some stuff mailed.

So, it's like Persona 4 Dancing All Night, except you're the shadows. ^_^;;

As long as I get to see them summon a 765Pro idol shredding on an electric guitar, I'm game.

Did you mean they were all moving simultaneously?  Or, did you mean they all had just one movement?

A little bit of both, to be honest. Generally, they go straight one way, then straight the other, and there's no variation. The motion itself doesn't feel real, and then the majority of them are totally in sync with each other. There are a few that are a little delayed, but the crowd seems to have a hivemind for the most part.

Then again, I don't know how much they're grinding down on the GPU with all the other stuff they're doing. I actually think all the penlight motions can be calculated in the GPU, but I dunno. Maybe they ran into slowdown or something.

... Like, Bandai? Namco? It looks great and all, but the pen light motion is too uniform. Add some noise to that system, dang it!

Sorry, pet peeve I didn't even know I had.

General chatter / Re: What RPG character class are you?

First off... I really don't like tests in the vein of that first one. Any time I see the question "How much can you bench press?" or "Can you juggle", I think "A lot of people don't know, and don't own the stuff to find out." and "Who cared enough to learn how?" Then I move on. The second one is a lot better - it relies on descriptors which are more understandable, especially if you haven't lifted weights since that friend took you many years ago.

The second says to err on the side of high since this is supposed to be your adventurer self, so take it again if you were being modest. It also says (if you don't end up being human) that the scores it gives you are raw scores without the racial modifiers, so add those in after you're done. I remember taking it before and getting... Elven Monk/Sorcerer? And insane stats, particularly in intelligence? At least the spread was around what I imagined it would be... mostly... though I think it gave me stats that were too high.

Generally, I've always thought I'd be a dex-based fighter/mage in a fantasy world. Elven Monk/Sorcerer is pretty close... not quite there, but close.

Far as I can tell, each Im@s game has no continuity with any other game. It'll probably be the same for this one, too.

Overwatch! I can't say I'm that great at the game, but sometimes I feel like I'm doing well. The other day I did back-line harass as Pharah and tied up like three guys. I don't even know how that was possible.

I think I've settled on my cadre of characters, though. Lucio, D.Va, Mercy, Soldier, Pharah, Junkrat... maybe Roadhog. Kinda Tracer. Would like to play Zarya, she seems interesting.

Miyuki Sawashiro seems to be doing more tomboy roles right now, but I remember her more for Aruru and Mint Blancmanche. She can play a lot of different types of characters, though.

So, welcome Kogami! If you ever have to host a talk show, don't call me. ^_^;

My brother has been into the genre for a while now, so I could consider this my revenge, getting into it through a thing he's not into.

So indirectly, you were called here by a hew man, who wished to pay idols tribute?

I did TRPGs for a while, many years ago, but we kinda don't have a group anymore. I seemed to play most with support roles - I don't know how it happened, it just did, starting with Bard which wasn't bad like everyone said. It takes a different mindset really. Sometimes you gotta crunch some numbers, sometimes you gotta look past them, and sometimes you have to take a more commander approach so you know what needs the most shoring up. You also have to be aware of what you can't do - beginners can miss this easily because there's something so blatant that they can do well, they do it whether or not it means sticking their neck out too much.

But enough talk. Welcome to the forums!

For me, when I think about all the mobile games and where they fit in the grand machinations of NBGI... they seem to be something to keep the franchise alive and fresh in people's minds until the next console release. Sure there's a lot of idols, but I think the entire point was to let the fandom fandom over everyone, and then for NBGI to respond to that fandom and acknowledge it. There's no shortage of art or doujin and stuff, and the most popular Cinderella Girls characters are getting voices... then songs and CDs, and even spots in an anime, which I don't think anyone imagined would happen. The fandom has been fed quite well, I'd say, and the cycle it's created is quite healthy.

Though to be honest, if someone says they don't like either of them, I can totally see it. The mobile games aren't exactly filled with gameplay, and at least for Cinderella Girls, the vast majority of them only have their quotes for development. I honestly think that's kinda the point - I think Namco'd rather reverse import canon from the fandom, than to make canon and restrict the fandom to deal with it - but regardless, some people see the lack of official development and don't like it. I can't call that reason misguided, 'cause it ain't. People just like different things.

... Although Cinderella Girls got popular enough to have an anime and rhythm game. I find this hilarious. And awesome.
