THE iDOLM@STER Stella Stage / Re: THE iDOLM@STER Stella Stage (PS4)
« on: October 16, 2017, 03:11:48 PM »
Famitsu now has details on the DLC carry over. Specifies that paid songs outfits and accesories can be carried over but mails items and money can't be carried over. (Which makes sense as the mails are game specific anyways) There's a few other notes like the preorder costume can't be brought over (the PS one), P drop costumes can't be carried over (so no DL Live ones), and boosted costume levels, skills, etc. won't carry over.

Famitsu article link here: https://www.famitsu.com/news/201710/16144124.html
Is it only me or is that really taiyou no jealousy at the panel.

NICE~~ I'M HYPED NOW~~

Though, one thing that got me thinking is that Stella Stage (SS) has 2 DLCs costumes on arrival vs Platinum Star (PS) iirc. Correct me if i'm wrong.

ANOTHER CLOVER for the Limited Edition/Collector Edition (LE/CE) and
PLATINUM MEMORY for the Day 1 Retail/Digital Edition respectively.

And buying the LE/CE will give you 2 of these DLC Costumes.
Though one can wonder, is it the same with PS where the DLC costume are kind of crap (C Rank) and not worth it except for the visual/aesthetic value or that they have stat/skill that can boost the early game.

Just to be clear, i bought the PS CE/LE and only use the DLC costume for the early game (first 20 hours or so), then ditch it for the S Rank DL Live 1 Haruka's Rouge/Noire Q. Clearly it's more or less useless in the game use-wise. Even though, i love the design of both of these DLC Costumes.
It reminds me of One For All's (OFA) Day 1/LE/CE DLC Costume. Really nice and cute.

Decision-wise, i don't intend to buy the LE/CE if i have to, since they are expensive. Need to see more game play/song list/how the DLC carry over/P-Drop exclusion changes/drop rate or heck, even an Asia English version announcement in order to buy them...
Seeing that they add skill tree in the game, the DLC costume might be useful at least until midgame. From the look of the skill tree it is used to get stats upgrade and new costume. There will be another live stream on 16 october, more info will come during the live stream.

About Asian english release, there will be none as always since all other Bamco game got Asian English announcement except this game. Even the Asia Japanese version (R3JP) cannot be found anywhere.

On another note, must be suck since MYR value is really low

WHAT!!!! Where did they mention about it??
Didn't recall reading any info on Gematsu and such about the DLC can be carried over to Stella Stage
Heck, even about the dreaded P-Drops as well..
If they can be carried over, then perhaps Stella Stage COULD HAVE OTHER different songs (DLCs) than Platinum Stars.

Oh boy..~~
Looking forward to December now..  8)
Gematsu just translate the info taken in stella stage official website while the talk about DLC carry over and no P-drop was stated only in live stream.

I really don't want a CG console game. As much as I love Syoko, CG has too many characters, and as my dad always says, a bigger cast is not a better cast. If people are so sick of the 765 Pro girls, then I'd like to see a game with some new idols...like for example I once had a dream that there was a game where you could produce Leon, Shiika, and 11 new female idols at 961 Production, however I doubt that would happen. Mostly because Leon's VA is super expensive and 961 is the antagonist of the franchise...it'd be like a Mario game where you play as Bowser (then again Wario DOES have his own spinoff series).
Looking at CG, they shouldn't make a console game out of this. Since the console game have always been 765 Pro, how much backlash will they get from 765 Pro fan. Sakagami won't just run from the stage at this development but out of Japan.

Large cast makes it harder to handle even the anime doesn't really show their relationship with each other but focusing their relationship with their own unit. The producer doesn't really play his role like it should be. Wondering how some of the CG anime watchers can said that CG anime is better than 765 Pro anime when the true aspect of idolmaster is not even there in CG anime. And it's also funny since this CG fans don't even play CG mobage but play dersute because mobage is card game but they went and buy CG viewing revolution that have no gameplay.

On another note Bamco should make a 961 Production game with a few new idol and producer that failed to produce the idol. After failing they all started fresh at a new company to get revenge on Kuroi.

^Seconding that. I love Deresute and CG but I kind of don't like how the english-speaking fanbase became now.

Well....my unpopular opinion.
Not sure if "unpopular" but I must say it's something that lowkey bothers me. I don't like it when Deresute-only fans calls Deresute/Cinderella Girls as "Idolmaster", as in "I play/love Idolmaster!" "Idolmaster girls" "I want Idolmaster to be localized" but they *only* meant Deresute, not Idolmaster in general, or even the core 765pro Imas. As if Deresute is the main and only Imas game. Hahah- Probably just me though. I'm trying to get used to it but it still bothers me at times.

(Also I've seen a person who literally called Deresute as "Idolmaster" but Mirishita as only "Theater Days" and really don't know how to feel about that...)
Yeah agreeing with this, they should call deresute as it is or cgss but  they keep calling it as idolmaster like it is the main branch of the series. Before deresute was release the fanbase was quite okay but now it became a cancerous fanbase.

Should also noted that the current CG popularity have destroyed the value of the original console game a.k.a PS making it a rhythm game with gacha and no communication with the idol  like deresute.

Is it Shiika or Shiina?

Im just not sold on that returning gameplay from Platinum Stars. It seems they think a selling point is finally getting the girls out of those awful track suits... I guess it is for some. So whats really new? OFA style menu system and some new interactions? I just cant imagine having a huge amount of reasons to play this game with the Platinum Stars gameplay returning. Maybe they have something up their sleeve or some good incentives planned out, but I had my fill of Platinum Stars. Maybe this new girl means rival battles are returning? Would love to see Rin Shibuya, if she shows up im sure it will cost 2k yen just to have her in a rival battle. Sigh. Hope im wrong and the game is great but frankly I dont believe it will be... Probably pick it up no matter what if the Asian release has English subs but I most certainly will not import this new at 8k yen after Platinum Stars.
Seeing all the day one bonus that they give and I can already sense how weird the money loving Scamco acting here. To be safe lower your expectation to zero and expect nothing.

Apparently the PM series is over, because this announcement says something about a Platinum Master Encore to be released in March 2017.

Very disappointing. :/
It's a new song.
Solo song from each album will be sold at the meeting named MiracleResistanceアマテラス
PS: That PLUTINAM master

Well I don't know if I'll return to a YouTube channel or not when I get back from vacation. I've received 2 DMCA strikes in the past 2 days. Without access to my laptop I cannot counter the strikes until I get back on Saturday. Unfortunately if I receven just one more strike my account will be suspended with possible termination. Here's to hoping my channel can survive 4 more days without me there to save it.  :'(
RIP your youtube channel.
THIS MESSAGE WAS SENT FROM THE FUTURE.

Been wondering, since they used the costume from Must Songs, you think there's a chance for Maji de...?! to make it ingame? I think it'd be cool with all the calls and stuff.  Could be like the new Machiuke Prince or something.  Btw, is there a like a mp3 rip somewhere without the taiko sounds for the full game ver?  Still hoping for that m@ster version someday.  ::)
There is a chance for it to appear as dlc but according to Scamco im@s division, a chance is the same as never.

True that, I still like triple angel in game more than m@ster version, hokagou jump too, the in game just sounds so much better than m@ster.
Yeah those two songs were bad in m@ster version. Wonder why they tone down their music and energy.

Also, that line in the beginning with Yayoi and Hibiki sounds pretty balanced to me with headphones.  ???
When i heard it, it seems like yayoi voice overpower hibiki voice a little almost to barely noticable
I like the songs, but only the in gme version since they seem to use more power in their singing than the m@ster versions. they are just sung so powerless, they don't have that spark

and also, really,  I second that, yayoi was out of place at resistance, I just hurt to hear hibiki get overpowerd by genki girl (even though I like yayoi, but there,,, I don't know)
maybe resistance would have sounded better if they put on yukiho or ritsuko and used yayoi for miracle night instead of one of the futami twins. I mean, they don#t have to be on the same album, mami singing amaterasu would have made me happy
Welp this is not the first time they make the game version better than m@ster version. Even some song in OFA had the better in game version than m@ster version.

I'm actually wanting Haruka instead of Yayoi in boku tachi no resistance.
Heck it would be better if they just kept 3 person for the song.
Why bother with 4 person for a song if 4 people on the stage is pretty much nonexistence inside the game

I know I will get some hate now, but... I think most of the platinum stars songs are just to bland... for me
I don't get that exciting feeling when listening to them, as I did with the OfA Songs.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate them or anything, I really like LIVE Kakumei, Happy and Miracle Night, but the other songs...
they are not bad, just.... I don't know what it is... Maybe it really is just me, to think these songs sound bland, but it feels that way... I am missing the spark to set my heart on fire...
Actually most of the new songs are quite bland. I think it mostly because the songs lack energy that can get you excited. I think its because the way they sing the song or the music that's making the song less exciting.
