I prefer the REM@STER-B version of Aoi Tori to the original. While REM@STER versions tend to be hit-or-miss (looking at you, My Best Friend REM@STER-A), there are some really good ones. It's fun to see how different songs can work in different styles (seriously, whoever decided to make Agent Yoru o Yuku into a theme that sounds like it came out of a cheesy cowboy flick deserves a raise), and I think Aoi Tori is one of the few songs with two good REM@STERs. But the REM@STER-B version is my favorite. It reminds me of a Beatles song, almost, but I could just be confusing it with mind tends to make funny associations like that. The beginning also sounds like the song "Smooth" by Carlos Santana, which is always a plus!

I also have three hypothetical units, if the Dearly Stars trio became producable somehow. These will never happen, of course, but a girl can dream.

Power of 3 Eri, Miki, Mami
Jump'n'Shout! Ai, Yayoi, Ami
TRANS★FORM Ryo, Makoto, Hibiki

Oh man, this could be the first game since SP to feature all 10 of the songs from the original arcade game!

You look amazing!  :-*

I'd also kind of like to see Megumi Ogata (Shinji Ikari, Sailor Uranus) or Saki Fujita (Hatsune Miku). Also Eri Kitamura (Sayaka Miki, Makoto in Xenoglossia). Maybe get some of the other Madoka VAs in there too...I especially love Ai Nonaka.

All I can say is: Who knows? Many unexpected games came to Switch now (even Touhou). I mean, not to break any hopes or something.
I can always dream. It's probably not to the extent of what I envisioned, but it could happen! (But if it did happen, Nintendo costumes are a definite, I mean you saw what they did to Bayonetta)

One of the articles also mentioned Aoi Tori being an unlockable song. It's very exciting to see it and Massugu return as it's the first time since SP iirc. (not counting spinoffs)

General chatter / Re: Ever have a dream about iDOLM@STER?

I also had a dream that Haruka and Chihaya appeared in Mario Kart. They got official racing outfits like the princesses have and everything, and there was a track based on a stage for a show, where an instrumental mashup of "READY!", "GO MY WAY!", and "THE iDOLM@STER" played. And you know how certain tracks have Toads and Shy Guys on the sidelines, cheering for you? This track had those, along with Harukasans. It was so awesome.

Then there was this dream that Yukiho's cousin showed up. She looked kinda like Yukiho, but she had longer hair in a side ponytail, kinda like Adrien's mom on Miraculous Ladybug, but brown. Her name was Megumi Hagiwara (I know there's Megumi Tokoro in ML and Megumi Ijuin in CG but the franchise has like four Naos), she was voiced by Yukiho's old seiyuu (I could tell because at one point she performed "I Want" and it was Yurishi's version), and she was essentially the Gladstone Gander to Yukiho's Donald Duck (if that makes sense...just like, Megumi seems to be the one who has all the luck). Anyway she showed up, flirted with Makoto a whole bunch, and basically just tried to make Yukiho's life miserable. What a bitch. This character doesn't exist and I already hate her for making Yukipyon cry

(And the franchise technically has four characters named Nao. Nao Kamiya from CG, Nao Yokoyama from ML, Nao Okamura from SideM, and Miki's older sister Nao Hoshii from Classic).

General chatter / Re: Better know a Producer

1. How did you first learn about “The iDOLM@STER”? What were your first impressions?

I was trying to find a Project Diva game online, but instead found iM@S. I wanted to check it out, so I begged my mom to buy me a copy off eBay, even if it was in Japanese.

2. Have you played any of the idolm@ster games? If so, which is your favorite?

iM@S 2, before the flood took the PS3.

3. Which idol is your favorite and why?

Mami Futami, I love her voice and appearance, they're so cute!

4. What is your favorite idolm@ster song and why?

ALRIGHT was the first to reduce me to tears, but I love Aoi Tori to death. Every remix sounds good, and every idol sounds good singing it (Yayoi's is at least passable)

5. What’s your favorite aspect of the idolm@ster series?

The relationship between the characters. Especially the girls and Producer.

6. When and how did you become a “Producer”? That is, when did you consider yourself an idolm@ster fan?

Only until recently. I remembered the game because of SiIvaGunner, of all things. I decided to check it out again, and loved it.

7. Have you ever been to an idolm@ster live concert? Please share your experience or any particularly special memories if so.

God I wish...

8. Do you play any of the mobile game series such as Cinderella Girls and Million Live?

I want to play Million Live so bad. All the idols look so cute, especially that girl Emily...

9. Have you watched the 2011 series or Cinderella Girls anime? If so, what are your thoughts?

Yes! The 2011 one is so good, man...haven't seen CG.

10. Do you have any favorite seiyuu related to the idolm@ster series?

Juri Takita, Kenji Akabane, Rie Kugimiya, and Asami Shimoda. Eri Kitamura and Yui Horie were also both in Xenoglossia.

11. Shout out your love about the idolm@ster series, say anything you’d like!

Why isn't Kotori real...I'd like to marry her...  :'( In all seriousness, this series has helped me out a lot recently, and I have to thank everyone involved with it. It's never gonna cure me, but it always brightens my day and distracts me from my depression.

I once dreamt that the idols of 765 Pro did another movie trailer, similar to Mujin Gattai Kisaragi or The Sleeping Be@uty. This one was a horror movie that starred Ami rising to the top as a famous idol. Mami played the evil twin who wanted fame and fortune like her sister had, so she was going for the "kill and replace" route. At one point she killed the rest of Ryuuguu Komachi, along with Ritsuko. There's nothing quite like watching your favorite idol slit Azusa's throat.

I've been thinking about this lately, and what if it was a Dearly Stars game, so you had Ai, Eri, and Ryo...but you could also produce Ryo's friend Yumeko and Eri's internet friend Cineria? IDK, I think it would be cool to produce those two, especially since I love Cineria's design.

IDK much about Cinderella Girls, but here are the ones that seem good
Nanami (if she had a voice)
Feifei (if she had a voice)
Reiko (if she had a voice)
Natalia (if she had a voice)
Kate (if she had a voice, because foreign idols are the best)

I would kill to see Rie Tanaka in iM@S. I'd also love to see perhaps Mariya Ise, though she isn't known for being a singer.

THE iDOLM@STER Stella Stage / Re: THE iDOLM@STER Stella Stage (PS4)

So, Shiika (Yeah, it's confirmed) VA is Rie Takahashi.
From what I've heard, she has a fantastic voice! And for a second I thought that said Rie Tanaka and was ready to make a Rockman Zero joke...
