These are my impressions as well. It feels like Platinum Stars was an unfinished game that took longer to develop than planned for whatever reason and was released basically because they had to.

I'm kind of glad they did in a sense. If they didn't we might have been stuck having P drops in this game instead. Also I enjoyed Platinum Stars to an extent that I don't mind it existing, but wouldn't want the same mistakes repeated.

I feel you
I miss the days when each idol had individual outfits in each category Q_Q

What confuses me personally is we're not under 3rd Vision, yet the costumes act like they are. No classic outfits. (Even iM@S 2 had some) 4 costume types might have been more exciting if it was actually unique per idol. If it's meant to imitate a live, why not add MCs or other parts to make it feel more like a live? That'd be another way to add more dialouge. Platinum Stars was under the 10th anniversary label, and once again the "2nd vision" logo is missing here. It's like an odd inbetween.

Just wondering. shouldn't there be a Stella Stage thread instead since the game is confirmed...?? And move this topic there...??

I'm a mod so I can't do so but I've messaged the admin about it.

Famitsu now has details on the DLC carry over. Specifies that paid songs outfits and accesories can be carried over but mails items and money can't be carried over. (Which makes sense as the mails are game specific anyways) There's a few other notes like the preorder costume can't be brought over (the PS one), P drop costumes can't be carried over (so no DL Live ones), and boosted costume levels, skills, etc. won't carry over.

Ah... Austria? I thought I heard Australia.

I double checked, it's Austria.

And I could have sworn it was Shiika, where are you getting Shiina from? I just looked it up, the translator I used is giving it as "Shiika", which means "poetic flower".

That's what I was told, there's no official furigana reading at the moment, both articles I checked only had the kanji.

More info on the new rival.

Name: Shika
Voice Actress: Rie Takahashi
Age: 17
Birthday: September 16th
Height: 158cm
Weight: 43kg
3 sizes: 82/53/80
Blood Type: A
Hobbies: Collecting music boxes, Robot toys

She was raised in Austria and came back to Japan. (I'm guessing that means she's part Japanese)
Due to her upbringing she already has a foundation in music.
It also mentions her having experience in ballet and fashion modeling.

There's only one image of her line but her using the phrase "it's been an honor" (光栄です) reminds me of how Chihaya talks.

Confirmed today at PlayStation Press Conference there's a brand new 765 AllStars idol raising live game! A few hours afterwards there was a nico live stream held called Stella Channel which gave us more information. The game releases December 21st 2017! New song is ToP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1st PV:

Big news is there are NO more P Drops, and DLC bought from Platinum Stars carries over to Stella Stage!

More info and screenshots can be found at Dengeki Online's article!

Edit: Changed title slightly now that Stella Stage has it's own section
