Now another (not sure if unpopular opinion or not, but eh) opinion:

If anything iDOLM@STER that gets officially localized in English/the west (more than Shiny festa's iOS port or the CG VR)...I hope it's not the mobile games, ahah. Sooo many people wanting Deresute to be localized solely to compete with Love Live... but to me, iDOLM@STER's (as a whole) true appeal is not their mobile games. That's why I want the console games to get localized first, if anything.

I would also love a main game to get localized but if we will only get another mobile one, I'm sure
The risk of money loss is to high for them to make a main console game I think
also deresute and mirishita (and Live on Stage) are not that bad of games, sure, they don't have a big story mode like the main games, but those small commus are not that bad and I#M sure they would make more money with the sales of gacha currency

Large cast makes it harder to handle even the anime doesn't really show their relationship with each other but focusing their relationship with their own unit. The producer doesn't really play his role like it should be. Wondering how some of the CG anime watchers can said that CG anime is better than 765 Pro anime when the true aspect of idolmaster is not even there in CG anime.
IKR? 765's Producer had such a good relationship with all the girls and was a fleshed-out character. We call him Broducer for a reason. I loved how he would always go out of his way to help the girls with whatever they needed, and he's one of my favorite characters in the anime. CG Producer just feels so...detached.

And it's also funny since this CG fans don't even play CG mobage but play dersute because mobage is card game but they went and buy CG viewing revolution that have no gameplay

I really don't want a CG console game. As much as I love Syoko, CG has too many characters, and as my dad always says, a bigger cast is not a better cast. If people are so sick of the 765 Pro girls, then I'd like to see a game with some new idols...like for example I once had a dream that there was a game where you could produce Leon, Shiika, and 11 new female idols at 961 Production, however I doubt that would happen. Mostly because Leon's VA is super expensive and 961 is the antagonist of the franchise...it'd be like a Mario game where you play as Bowser (then again Wario DOES have his own spinoff series).
Looking at CG, they shouldn't make a console game out of this. Since the console game have always been 765 Pro, how much backlash will they get from 765 Pro fan. Sakagami won't just run from the stage at this development but out of Japan.

On another note Bamco should make a 961 Production game with a few new idol and producer that failed to produce the idol. After failing they all started fresh at a new company to get revenge on Kuroi.

But hey! Not only did the CG popularity destroyed the games themselves, they also destroyed 765. I’ve seen Cinderella Girls fans (probably DeresutePs, as I have yet to encounter a pre-Deresute CG fan who hates 765) in game websites like Gematsu complaining about Stella Stage just because its “yet another 765 game, where’s my CG console game?!”. I honestly can’t believe they complain about CG not getting a console game when Deresute gets updated weekly, while for 765 games we need to wait months and even year(s) for them to release a new entry. Besides, Cinderella Girls’ cast is half unvoiced, if they want a CG game then why would they want the unvoiced girls to NOT be on it? They are also part of CG!

^Seconding that. I love Deresute and CG but I kind of don't like how the english-speaking fanbase became now.

Well....my unpopular opinion.
Not sure if "unpopular" but I must say it's something that lowkey bothers me. I don't like it when Deresute-only fans calls Deresute/Cinderella Girls as "Idolmaster", as in "I play/love Idolmaster!" "Idolmaster girls" "I want Idolmaster to be localized" but they *only* meant Deresute, not Idolmaster in general, or even the core 765pro Imas. As if Deresute is the main and only Imas game. Hahah- Probably just me though. I'm trying to get used to it but it still bothers me at times.

(Also I've seen a person who literally called Deresute as "Idolmaster" but Mirishita as only "Theater Days" and really don't know how to feel about that...)
Same goes for me. It may sound petty, but it honestly gets on my nerves. And apart to being called “imas” as a whole, it also gets pretty annoying when they call Deresute as a whole “Cinderella Girls” and ignore (or directly don’t get informed about the existence of) the original game. As a Producer that has spend a lot of time in the original CG, it is pretty saddening for me to see that the Mobage gets ignored just because its not “muh rhythm game”, thing that tbh was what made Deresute & CG as a whole relevant, because I remember Love Live! players in Twitter criticizing the Mobage back when the anime aired & Deresute didn’t exist yet because “it wasn’t a rhythm game”. I get not everyone likes this types of “tap & wait” games (I myself don’t play other Mobages & GREE games outside of CG, SideM and ML!), but ignoring them is pretty saddening especially considering Deresute exists because of the original CG (obviously lol). I didn’t see this happen with Msute/SideM and Millitheater/ML! that much (just two or three times?), but with CG/Deresute it has arrived to a point that it has become so annoying for me. And like I said, it may sound petty, but that’s exactly how I feel.

Yeah agreeing with this, they should call deresute as it is or cgss but  they keep calling it as idolmaster like it is the main branch of the series. Before deresute was release the fanbase was quite okay but now it became a cancerous fanbase.

Should also noted that the current CG popularity have destroyed the value of the original console game a.k.a PS making it a rhythm game with gacha and no communication with the idol  like deresute.
Indeed. The fanbase was small compared to now, but it was nice and not toxic (basically like SideM’s and ML!’s fanbases for now), but now it has become a mess. And the part about the original games being destroyed is totally true. Platinum Stars seemed too much like it was trying to be your usual idol phone game but in console, and that’s exactly why it got the bad rep it has. Hopefully Stella Stage will change that.

I want a male Producer in the Side M Anime

THat's my unpopular opinion
I second this opinion.

For my part: I think Deresute, as much as I love it, was the game that brought a lot of problematic fans into the fandom, and it makes me sad.

Other unpopular opinions: I'm not a huge fan of 9:02 pm. I just think that Tonari Ni is a much better song. Plus nearly every idol does it well, whereas there are so few decent versions of 9:02 pm. I especially dislike Chihaya's, it just sounds so...squawky? IDK the word I'm looking for...as opposed to her version of Tonari Ni, which is flawless. Like even Yayoi has a great Tonari Ni, which is saying something.
Despite Xenoglpossia's shortcomings, it did at least have a really cute design for Iori. I liked the purple hair. It was cool on her. I also liked her voice actress in that series, it fit her personality better. Rie Kugimiya is a fantastic Iori, but she's very high-pitched...

Oh, now I understood you and you’re right, I honestly think relationships till both persons aren’t in their 20s won’t work well, even though I think that if a 17 y/o wants to have a relationship with a person that is starting his 20s then there’s no problem, as the minor is just one year a way of being an adult (when talking about non-Japanese relationships ofc). The problem would start if the person is already on their half 20s and the other one is still a minor... so maybe that’s why I don’t see Hokuto and Makoto’s relationship weird (even though I myself don’t like this pairing), as Hokuto just became an adult and Makoto is almost an adult too in my point of view. Also, Japan is changing the legal adult age to 18 in 2021 iirc???

Anyways, like I said before, sorry if I came out as mean, that wasn’t my intention! I interpreted your words like you thought age gaps were bad in any age and I didn’t have in consideration Japan’s legal age, so in my head Makoto was just one year away of being an adult.
Hey, no problem! I understand!

What I mean is, 20 is legally an adult in Japan. There is no way a 20-year-old and a 17-year-old can have a healthy relationship. If it was 23 and 20, then maybe. I guess I worded it a bit weird...I have no problem with age gaps in relationships, but when one is an adult and the other is a kid, then in the words of a very wise hedgehog, that's no good.

You gotta be kidding me... a 3 years age gap, too much for a relationship? LMFAO! Not trying to be mean, but that’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve read. I’d say a big percentage of relationships (especially on seniors) have that age gap or even bigger. Ffs, there’s even a lot of couples today who have 20 and even 30 years of difference! How can you say a 3 year gap is too much compared to that?
