Interesting...well, I don't care if people know the city where I live because my house/neighborhood is secluded anyways.

City of origin : Keller, Texas USA
Spoken languages : English, High School Level German, and I gave up on Thai/Loas.

P.S. I am Thai/Loas, but I don't embrace it too much.

City of Origin: Palembang, Indonesia. Currently in Jakarta
Languages: Indonesian, English and modern Palembangese (which is to say, a stripped down version with some Indonesian jumbles mixed in)

Also, forgive me for being an idiot, but you guys in America have international language subject at highschool?

Now THAT is something to be jealous about. They teach only English here (the majority of which I've learnt by myself), and if you chose Islamic school, replace "English" with "Arabic"

It really depends on which state your in and what school your going too. Schools in California have more language courses than schools on the East. Also with the financial crisis going on in America most schools have reduced the number of foreign languages they teach. Before i entered high school my school taught Spanish, Japanese, German and Italian but by the time i entered high school my school only offered Spanish.

It was a  requirement for going to a university at my school. We had Spanish and German (used to have French but it was tossed with the budget).

Born in St. John's, Newfoundland, grew up in Mt. Pearl, which is pretty much next to St. John's, and now living in what is technically St. John's territory, even though it isn't connected to anything from St. John's yet.

Also, I speak English, obviously, but know very little French.

Jesus, if only our universities have requirements like that!

Ah, well... with Indonesia being as corrupt as this, I guess international languages are far from high hopes.

Also, I guess this is getting off topic, so thanks for the info
