WHAT!!!! Where did they mention about it??
Didn't recall reading any info on Gematsu and such about the DLC can be carried over to Stella Stage
Heck, even about the dreaded P-Drops as well..
If they can be carried over, then perhaps Stella Stage COULD HAVE OTHER different songs (DLCs) than Platinum Stars.

Oh boy..~~
Looking forward to December now..  8)
Gematsu just translate the info taken in stella stage official website while the talk about DLC carry over and no P-drop was stated only in live stream.

NICE~~ I'M HYPED NOW~~

Though, one thing that got me thinking is that Stella Stage (SS) has 2 DLCs costumes on arrival vs Platinum Star (PS) iirc. Correct me if i'm wrong.

ANOTHER CLOVER for the Limited Edition/Collector Edition (LE/CE) and
PLATINUM MEMORY for the Day 1 Retail/Digital Edition respectively.

And buying the LE/CE will give you 2 of these DLC Costumes.
Though one can wonder, is it the same with PS where the DLC costume are kind of crap (C Rank) and not worth it except for the visual/aesthetic value or that they have stat/skill that can boost the early game.

Just to be clear, i bought the PS CE/LE and only use the DLC costume for the early game (first 20 hours or so), then ditch it for the S Rank DL Live 1 Haruka's Rouge/Noire Q. Clearly it's more or less useless in the game use-wise. Even though, i love the design of both of these DLC Costumes.
It reminds me of One For All's (OFA) Day 1/LE/CE DLC Costume. Really nice and cute.

Decision-wise, i don't intend to buy the LE/CE if i have to, since they are expensive. Need to see more game play/song list/how the DLC carry over/P-Drop exclusion changes/drop rate or heck, even an Asia English version announcement in order to buy them...

Seeing that they add skill tree in the game, the DLC costume might be useful at least until midgame. From the look of the skill tree it is used to get stats upgrade and new costume. There will be another live stream on 16 october, more info will come during the live stream.

About Asian english release, there will be none as always since all other Bamco game got Asian English announcement except this game. Even the Asia Japanese version (R3JP) cannot be found anywhere.

On another note, must be suck since MYR value is really low

Hoo, that might be interesting to see. Seeing that the DLC Costume has more prolonged uses + more gameplay variation instead of picking the higher rank costume  :P  Wish there was 50% less grind vs PS though tbh..and more things to do than just grind any songs for the 50th time/week...zzz

Then again, looking forward to that live stream on the 16th. I presume its on NicoNico or YouTube?

Yeah, i agree with you. Bamco to this day are still reluctant to localize the darn game. It's not even that hard. To get away with VA laws and such, just release a Asia English version like their other games and call it a day. The English doesn't have to be 100% perfect UK/US English. Even Digimon Cyber Sleuth are filled with grammar errors here & there, and yet i still finished it and understand it just fine.

On another note, must be suck since MYR value is really low

Hahaha!! You got that right!! It kinda sucks when your currency can't even buy shits and stuff online. Games are getting more expensive and the MYR currency now surely makes it worse. At least Steam has been fairly stable (not much difference) vs console game (++ inc. in price).

Kimi wa Melody×Relations×THE iDOLM@STER 2nd-mix HYPE!!
Please make more medley songs!! 2 isn't enough as is. At least 4 will be good enough  ;D
  • Well, from what i can deduce, the mini games are mostly the same with maybe iirc a few icon changes (0:48) and a new X button choices (0:49)
  • And now we can buy costumes/accessories with our money (0:55)
  • Coaching board game gives stats like Omoide/Appeal etc for each idol (1:02)
  • Idol Status now have "mood"... (1:17)
Hopefully, please hopefully, Bamco will lessen the grind a lot. Pwetty Pleaze nano?  ;)

Not sure if this is the right place but i'll dro this info:
IM@S BLOG
Summary
What @Okayu stated + There's a discount on PS DLCs from 19/10/17 - 01/11/17
Discount is 20% (Assumed to be for everything)

Famitsu now has details on the DLC carry over. Specifies that paid songs outfits and accesories can be carried over but mails items and money can't be carried over. (Which makes sense as the mails are game specific anyways) There's a few other notes like the preorder costume can't be brought over (the PS one), P drop costumes can't be carried over (so no DL Live ones), and boosted costume levels, skills, etc. won't carry over.

The more info we get about SS, the more hyped I get. For now, THIS is what a “gift for the fans” should be (and not what PS was): Rivals, classic songs (ffs the fact that Taiyou no Jealousy will return to a main entry since 2009 with SP makes me fucking happy, I love that song and hopefully this means more classic songs as part of the base game or as DLC. I’m also pretty happy Relations is returning, if it was added to a medley then I’m guessing we’ll get the standalone song like PS’ medleys. Please bring Marionette no Kokoro, too!), an improved gameplay without stupid mobage-like contents like drops or costume rarities, the new board system to improve our idols’s stats, past DLC compatibility... it all feels WAY more fleshed out than PS was, and I’m honestly surprised they did all of this in just a year gap. Hopefully the game will actually be worth the hype.

Hopefully, i can full combo that Machiuke Prince on Master LOL. Got some serious Shiny TV PTSD  :'(
Heck, even I Want is like ZOMG!!

PREACH IT BRO, PREACH IT!!!

Well, in all fairness i think that Stella Stage (SS) is what PS should have been in the beginning. Kinda like EX Episode of OFA. Or perhaps SS can be seen as a Reboot Version of PS and that they abandoned ship around early 2017 iirc and stop publishing the DL Lives in order to make the SS game. Hence, why PS buyers can carry their DLC songs & costumes in the first place.

Oh well, whatever works best i guess. Just have to see if SS really lives up to the name of IM@S  :)

Just wondering. shouldn't there be a Stella Stage thread instead since the game is confirmed...?? And move this topic there...??

So, Shiika (Yeah, it's confirmed) VA is Rie Takahashi. I'm not familiar with her, but let's see how she do this.

Thank you @Yunabeco admin-san & @Okayu-san for your hard work.
Greatly appreciate it  :)

So, Shiika (Yeah, it's confirmed) VA is Rie Takahashi. I'm not familiar with her, but let's see how she do this.

I'm only familliar with her VA work in the CCG game Shadowverse by CyGames. Though, sadly to say, i haven't watch any of the anime that she starred in.
Nevertheless, expecting a lot from her as a rival/side character in Stella Stage since her work in Shadowverse was top notch if that's anything to say  ;)
Plus, she's qt in voice & looks as well.
