THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls: Starlight Stage
« on: June 28, 2015, 03:28:04 PM »
Hey guys, new mobile game!

Now before anyone riots, this is a rhythm game this time.

also there is a PV for a new cinderella girls game, cinderella girls starlight stage
seems like the love live SIF game

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HNSwfi4DEw

Here's the official webpage:
http://cinderella.idolmaster.jp/sl-stage/

Pre-registration is happening right now, but two warnings.
1) Servers are apparently acting up and it's difficult to get in.
2) Region-locked. You gotta work real hard to register unless you live in Japan.

Good luck.

Wow. Another bad gimicky rhythm game. What a surprise.

I'll probably join , anyway, as a long as it's not that hard to get in. I managed to get past any region locking in im@s before, so this is just another challenge.

I managed to bypass region locking with Kantai Collection and Touken Ranbu so this should be pretty easy. I probably won't be obsessed with the game unless the difficulty gets more difficult and fun.

On one hand I'm not the biggest fan of rhythm games

On the other hand I love the visual style for this game and it doesn't look too difficult

Don't know anything about region bypass though

Basically it's all about user-agent and proxy tricks, nothing else... all you need to do is to fake up your phone as if it was a Japanese one.

I'm a CG fan but I think everyone that isn't Konami, some random decent Korean dev team, or a hidden gem like Rayark should stop making rhythm games.  I can't remember the last good rhythm game Namco put out besides Taiko no Tatsujin lmao

Not too big on rhythm games myself either, but I figure I'll give it a try. Atleast it's not another card game.
Not removing this sig until Kachou Fuugetsu becomes more than a 5-page side story.

I'm not doubting that this rhythm game thing is due to School Idol Festival making more money than anyone ever, but I'm still decently pumped. I'll form my opinions based on what comes out, but I'm not pessimistic at least.

I literally have no opinions on this because we saw practically nothing about it. We only saw literally 10 seconds of gameplay, which isn't enough at all to judge how the game itself is. I'll wait for gameplay footage to come out for it (or heck, even play the game myself if I ever can) to see if I can say anything about it.

I'm not optimistic, I'm not pessimistic, all I know is that it exists.

Contrary to popular belief. This isn't actually a rhythm game.

This is basically a reflection when you hold up a phone running a Love Live mobile game up to an NBGI-made mirror.
And everyone fell for it.

Ahaha~

I make it obvious that I have an extreme distaste of CG. It seriously water downs the brand, and this game is no exception.

Sometimes people like things you don't like and that's okay.

I think SideM is a terribad game... So I don't play it. But, like, a lot of people like it so I let them like it. Because there are more important things to get angry about. Like... Sexism and racism and stuff.

Those aren't important to me. Sometimes people don't find things to be important that you may find important.

I think CG and ML is slowly killing iMAS, so I don't contribute to it in any way, apart from sharing my opinion on something at least once, and at most three times. I don't want to sway this thread into something completely negative, but the game is what it is. Totally fine for anyone and everyone to get this thread to page 200 with nothing but adoration.

Agreed. I'd rather this thread stay on topic about the game itself rather than go for 15+ pages of Mobile Game debates. We already had enough of those. :p
